Considering how Tiberium has a nasty habit of chain reacting when certain weapons are used, I wonder what would happen if someone sent one of those weapons through the Threshold tower for the Scrin to enjoy...
So when Tiberium gets harvested by NOD and GDI, are the crystals themselves being used to make their tanks and ships? Or is it sort of being sold off to others who give them the money to purchase tanks and equipment?

Tiberium is the reason why I love that branch of Command and Conquer. Red alert was nice but didn't grab me like the Tiberium did. When playing the remaster, I could see that the Tiberium would bring no good with it.

The only point I would raise is that the Liquid T explosion isn't required (in all likelihood). We don't really have an idea of what kind of conditions need to exist for a liquid T explosion; but given it's an ion cannon that Kane uses (and is the only thing with sufficient blast yield) suggests that it's unlikely. Why? Because this would mean Tiberium was only getting seeded to worlds with intelligent life (something akin to an ion cannon blast hitting a liquid T is a specific reaction, needs refinement, etc, lots of technology) and even then assuming that intelligent life has the means to create a Liquid T explosion. The liquid T explosion was probably just enough to notify them that "this world has a lot of Tiberium". Liquid T pre-requiste means 99.9% of the worlds would never be harvested.
A liquid-T explosion is what happens naturally when a planet reaches a terminal amount of Tiberium, a signal it's ready for the harvest. Which is why the Scrin are confused "No precedent exists for viable indigenous resistance post ichor-lq (liquid tiberium) detonation event" -- "Overlord suspects a delibrate detonation of ichor-lq to lure harvesting operations". The Ion Cannon was only required because the amount of liquid-t that Kane had (or could've produced) was just too small to be equivalent to a liquid-t event that happens when a planet is at a terminal capacity of Tiberium. The Ion Cannon just makes the boom/reaction way bigger.
No one could have known, in the middle years of the 21st century, that human affairs were being influenced from the timeless worlds of space. No one could have dreamed we were being seeded with tiberium, as a farmer plants crops in his field to be harvested soon after. Few men even understood that life existed on other planets, and yet, across the gulf of space, minds immeasurably superior to ours regarded this earth with emotionless eyes and slowly and patiently, they awaited they're harvest season.

I had a theory that tiberium might be able to detect how humans relate to it. What I mean is look at the cultists from the firestorm crysis: they worshipped tiberium, its various lifeforms and thus they weren't touched by it. Unlike the mutants, that were probably afraid of tiberium but came to accept it, that's why they were touched but haven't died in a short term.
You'd think after the second time they were surton kane was dead and he proceeded to shamble back to his feet and looked and acted like nothing happened you'd think both sides would stop assuming he's dead
10:19 >>CROWD: *surprised pikachu* I love it. So sad we never get Command and Conquer 4, i wanted to see what happen with Kane's Cyborgs, GDI and Human close extinction, and of course the Scrins *real* invasion
I probably won't be doing any more remastered lore videos, the RA timelines video still holds up pretty well by itself, I wanted to redo this video in particular because I'm not particularly happy with how it looks now, I think compared to the newer lore videos it doesn't hold up well, and I wanted to take another look and try to do it justice. The Remastered Collection was just a good excuse. I'm pretty happy with how the RA timelines video looks. Going forward though, I'll probably switch to using the Remastered cutscenes more often than the old VQAs, though there are several scenes which i think look better in VQA format. Gameplay-wise, the Remasters look pretty good
Perhaps there will be no more uncontrolled tiberium on Earth at somepoint. But objects in the cosmos are free game. Mercury might be a slower harvest as tiberium is only able to make significant growth underground and in the twilight due to extreme day and night temperatures - but it would still last thousands of years at least. Not to mention, if a quick influx of tiberium is desired, waste materials unable to be otherwise recycled and asteroids can be converted into tiberium and harvested.
I seem to have played most of the RTS games *other* than C&C when I was younger so it's nice to see a guided tour of the lore from various sources. Miracle elements can be an awesome addition to a plot that will make significant use of them, but I feel them having a series of major drawbacks (beyond just explosive volatility or whatever) are just as important as their potency. Really liking what I've watched of your C&C series so far, it's similar to the very Templin-esque vein of lorespeaking that I've come to love immensely.
I'd like to imagine it all ended one out of two ways. The Nod way where you've made it deep into Kane's inner circle and are rewarded with ascension. Perhaps meaning to a higher plane of existence or dimension, and that Kane achieved his goal of Tiberian Sun with his terraforming missile. Further Nod has the tacitus and has learned how to survive in a tiberium world. Or the GDI way where you're a hero and have put down the Scrin and Nod. The military threat is over, and GDI has the tacitus and has been able to reclaim most of the world of the alien substance from the data matrix. Perhaps a final footnote making a bitter decree, the tiberium wars were really just an exchange of bullets. By our own human hands we came to the absolute forefront of armageddon. Sadly we all know what we got back in 2010. Not a bang, but a whimper. Something that completely desecrated and insulted every mechanic, every idea and every challenge that came before and led up to it. Not made out of love, or fun or imagination. But made to sell. How we see the same mindset so much more prevalent little over a decade later.
I really wait for a 4th game I wonder what they can do with modern technology and the canon! It would be great if it was in a grand strategy, like Total War series! Hope they don't give it to EA tho, it would suck.
I love that "What these do is unknown" because C&C4's lore doesn't exist. EA all like "yeah so no more tib, no more bases, and no more eco. That'll work right? "
Just for disclosure I did use the ChronoShaders mod for most of the C&C3 footage here, but the differences are only subtle, the base C&C3 game is still a pretty good looking game given its age!
Scrin: Lets Make a new planet Scrin: Now watch GDI: What If we like use this sonic stuff and this big fucking tank to like retake the planet Also GDI: Haha Ion go bo- oh fuck Scrin: see I told you GDI: buds? NOD: buds

This is Once again a Great Video !
I hope the GDI goes to space and save planets from tiberium imfestation
I see you didn't use materials from C&C 4 :)
Don't worry, C&C4 will never appear in any of these lore video
@@NoStringsPrd the only good thing that came out of that game was its soundtrak
@@bernholtz1 SCP Warning. SCP 3-11-2010C&C4TIB. existence of scp/discussion of positive of scp. Possible EA interest detected. Foundation/Wanderer Denial procedure in progress.. C&C4 does not exist. There is no C&C4. Nothing good has come from C&C4 cause there is no C&C4.
AW YEA BOI I WAS WAITING FOR THIS
You'd think after the second time they were surton kane was dead and he proceeded to shamble back to his feet and looked and acted like nothing happened you'd think both sides would stop assuming he's dead
welcome back commander love your vids and lore subed :)
Thank you, really glad you enjoyed them, and welcome!
@@NoStringsPrd constuction complete translate no problem :)
Magnificent video!
Great video and editing!
Perfection.

I love it. So sad we never get Command and Conquer 4, i wanted to see what happen with Kane's Cyborgs, GDI and Human close extinction, and of course the Scrins *real* invasion
This takes me back! Will you be remastering the Chronology of Red Alert video with the Remastered cutscenes?
I like to imagine tiberium tastes either like green apple flavor candy or lime flavored candy
Imagine tiberium and nod in other sci-fi Sries like Star Wars that would be very cool
Can we all agree that C N C 4 (2010) never happened. So we can get a new chapter to this great RTS
There is something very similar to Tiberium sickness, it's called Morgellons disease
and another good video bruh, PEACE THROUGH POWER
Great work ^^
I really wait for a 4th game I wonder what they can do with modern technology and the canon! It would be great if it was in a grand strategy, like Total War series! Hope they don't give it to EA tho, it would suck.
Would be nice to see your take on c&c 4 storyline some day!
Is there a game called c&c4 ?
Really great video thanks you. I was sat playing CC3TW and I thought..... How the hell did it get here lol.
God damn it, I wish they released a forth game
another great video, keep up the great work! would you consider doing a video about dune 2000 some day?
Thanks mate! I've done a video on the history of the Dune games, or do you mean something on Dune lore?
People die when they are killed... except when they are Kane.
Ничего не понятно, но очень интересно =) В России ,мы тоже очень любим эту серию. Одно виденье ,одна цель.
I love that "What these do is unknown" because C&C4's lore doesn't exist.
EA all like "yeah so no more tib, no more bases, and no more eco. That'll work right? "
Man c&c3 looked hella good
Just for disclosure I did use the ChronoShaders mod for most of the C&C3 footage here, but the differences are only subtle, the base C&C3 game is still a pretty good looking game given its age!
“Kane Lives!”
*Crowd cheering
Subtitles:Crowd *surprised Pikachu
By the 2020s, the Earth had been transformed.
Oh yes No Strings Pd. It did... 🤣💀☠
The tiberium will set us free
Genius video
Scrin: Lets Make a new planet
Scrin: Now watch
GDI: What If we like use this sonic stuff and this big fucking tank to like retake the planet
Also GDI: Haha Ion go bo- oh fuck
Scrin: see I told you
GDI: buds?
NOD: buds
In the name of Kane and nostalgica!
7:05: should've been called Tiberium Michael-Bayus.
KANE...
LIVES!!!
*GDI* We named Tiberium after the Tiber River.
*Nod* We named Tiberium after a Roman emperor named Tiberius.
*Gene Roddenberry, 1991* You're all blind as Tiberium Bats.
Sadly, the story doesn't have an end 😭
this game deserves to be a movie... I'm upset with EA for destroying westwood.
