I drove a 370z back in like 2012, and as far as I can tell, the interior still looks exactly the same. Pretty disappointing for a 2020 at $45k. Hopefully Nissan will do better with the 400z.

The entire car is basically the same since it first went into production in 2008 as a refresh of the 350Z, which launched in 2002. This thing is old, old, old.

The engine sounds like something you would hear in grand theft auto. It sounds very virtual.
Hurts my ears listening to it on video, can't imagine driving it with it whining all the time.
BartlettRacing they force fake noise through the speakers on these new ones thankfully you can easily disable that stupid feature

I have a 2012 370z and these recent pov videos of late model Zs sounds awful. My girlfriend has a bone stock 2013 and it doesn't sound like these, just sounds quiet, none of that weird ghost whine.
With an aftermarket intake and catback they sound miles better than this

I do not know how you pulled this off while wearing sandals, I've been driving for over 30 years and still can't get consistent clutch feel while wearing sandals I usually have to take them off and go barefoot because its the only way for me to get good clutch feel while not wearing regular shoes, did you do the same?

These cars sound so tame in stock form when causally driving.... it's weird after encountering so many loud modded 350s/370s/Gs/etc.

Finally got a good job and looking for a 370z soon🤩 yea it’s no 600hp monster but from driving my 6spd Chevy Cruze it’ll feel like a dam race car can’t wait

I haven't owned nor driven either of those, but just by simply comparing them on youtube.... with the amount of money your are spending on this 370z.... you can make the most insane 350z on the planet :D... Why do you like the 370z?
@@tayl0rgangbtch i drive a 350Z, and yeah - you can get more bang for your buck if you find a clean 350Z. but im at the point where im driving a 20 year old car and i want something newer (more reliable), faster, lighter, and just all around nicer. Most 350Z are pretty beaten up or driven at this point, so the search would be difficult to find a manual one that doesnt have a ton of miles on it for less than 10k. Ive seen clean HR engine models being sold for 370Z prices, so why not just save a little more and make the jump?
The 370z has pretty outdated tech for sure, but I dont care much for lane assistance or fully touchscreen interfaces and all that. The main things I care about are the automatic rev matching and a backup camera. However I fully understand why people wouldnt choose a 370z. But for me, it seems like the next logical upgrade since Im fine with driving a low-tech (I love physical buttons and dials instead of touchscreens) car and everything else is an objectively solid upgrade. I hope I made sense but thanks for your curiosity

@@tayl0rgangbtch I would definitely go with a 350Z, especially if you want to build it with mods. If you decide to buy a 350Z, look for ones with the HR or DE engine. The Rev-up engines are the most problematic ones even though though they are newer than DEs. The HR is the best engine if you are looking to mod it for sure, but those are the most sought-after ones. Just imagine that in The Netherlands this car costs $140K ($120K in non-nismo spec) and it's actually 11 years old. We also do have more GT-Rs than 370Zs due to that. Lovely car nonetheless, but quite outdated now.

Is it ok to take a turn in 5th gear, let you rpms fall to 1.5k and gradually get back up to speed? You have to be bogging the engine, right? That’s what he does on the first turn of this vid. Just curious. I usually take all my turns in 2nd or 3rd.

I know this is a 2 year old comment, but the 370z has a really good variable timing system, so it actually doesn't have an issue with that
Interior looks outdated reminds me of the seventh generation Maxima. This car is 11 years old. I hope the 400Z will be much better as other sedans in Nissan lineup got better this car is showing its age.

Just an advice, when driving never rest your hand on the gear selector. It transmits forces that cause the selector fork to damage.

Ive always loved the concept of the Z. The interior is amazing on this one but I personally would not own one of these because the exterior seems outdated to me for some reason.

Smh I want one so bad that Cockpit is Mesmerizing picture that cockpit with a convertible that would be the ideal road sports car to travel...But this compared to a R33 or 34 I would say Skyline all day but that cockpit... 46k???? thats a lot of money for this.... I actually like the car and dont mind too much that it's outdated, but 46k is way too much for it. I live in NorCal and don't think I've ever seen one of these out there.... Hopefully Nissan gets the next gen right.

Yeah, the trusty VQ engine which powered everything with a Nissan badge since the mid-90's. A good motor but not exactly a thrilling engine to drive nor ever designed as one.
