      @ohiowoodburner vending out sodas and candy outside 3 coin laundromats, 2 tool rental locations, and 2 Inside a tattoo studio. And as these are non specific branded machines I sell that which does sell (including Dr. Pepper) and I the tattoo studio one machine does sell tattoo ointments and a few other things the studio supplies the items and I split with them and it's doing g quite well. The comercial account is an office building with 4 floors and 5 locations. They will be hard to set up but I hire a company to place the machines and all I'll do is fill them. All thanks to you

    hi up there i would be interesting to know the longevity of each out in the hot sun , and how the sun's UV effects each . witch one brakes down first . some plastics just flake in little pieces , reason for wondering , if it sat in a road side stand in the sun for to long , or if you just restocked the stand by putting the newly made ones on top .some at the bottom may start to brake down , next show , best to all john

    You should seriously consider using 250LB knot strength sisal (natural / biodegradable) bailer twine from Tractor Supply. $69 for 16,000 feet divided by 8 feet of wraps around the bundle gets you 2000 bundles at less than 4 cents a bundle. You could most likely develop a method to use your plastic wrapper to cinch the bundles.
    Natural / sisal type bail twine burns in wood stoves, camp fires and fireplaces because it's made of plant fibers, that plastic wrap ends up in the landfill which may be a bad image for your business reputation.

  • @Garrett572xpg

    I sort alot of my firewood by species. I have cherry ,red and white oak, pine, maple,ash,walnut, Chinese elm, boxelder aspen, apple,Mulberry, cottonwood,birch, ironwood, sugar maple, most of it is all stacked by species and mostly dry already. Bought 5 face of applewood yesterday , the guy has another trailer load left for me. I love applewood ,Hickory, and cherry bc i can make the most $ from it but its hard to get and costs more to get. I sell smoker wood chunks in bags also and bundles at my stands and a campground. Wish campgrounds opened already so i would have calls for campfirewood already. 2024 has been super terrible for selling wood so far. Winter was awful. Only sept- nov i had enough sales to be making $

    Great video Joe. Ugh, that first wrap was so loud. Great tip on the cast wrap. My bundling station is in my shed. I’m sure I’d be told I’m touching the firewood too much. I fill an ibc tote with loose wood and bring it into the shed. It stays dry and I can make bundles as needed. At some point I’ll have to start separating the bundle grade out as I stack, but for now I just stack it as I go. Have a great day 👍🏻!

    If you bought a bundler that uses a spring tension system and not a friction tension system you would not need to chase your tension all the time as the roll gets smaller.. I noticed a lot of the bundler manufacturers like your are cheating out on this very important fact.. It pays to shop around and know what you want before buying a firewood bundler

    You are Right on the Money Joe, by using a 90mil Stretch Wrap. A big difference between the 90 and the other. Windy and Cold here in New York, but should begin to get Warmer in the Days Ahead. Stove is going out today for Cleaning of the Pipe and Chimney this Week. About 3days to do it. I used to be able to do it in 1day but I do not want to push it because I get very Tired real fast but getting thru it the best I can. Your Cherry and Hickory are Premium looking Firewood and Smells Fantastic to Cut and Split. I am going to hopefully Cut up some Wood in a Week. I do think I am going to look around in time and See if there are places that would like to Sell Bundled Firewood and look into a Go/Fast machine to just do a small business Venture. I'm sorry to say sir, but your bundles look "stingy" and not to size. Some bundles only had 7 pieces and came not very close to the square footage. My suggestion is to have many many many 1 inch x 1 inch, 1 inch x 2 inch pieces to fill the gaps in your bundles. You have an eastomade axis, and can easily split say 5 or 6 rounds at a small dimension for this type of thing.
    It makes a big difference.

    • @ohiowoodburner
      @ohiowoodburner  5 месяцев назад

      I noticed the same thing. They have a 5% discount listed at the top of the page. Also, clicking the link doesn't take you to the exact stretch wrap that you're using. It just takes you to their site.

      Handles can be a liability. If it breaks and damages someone/something...it's a sue happy world...wrap seems the safest bet in my opinion

    Joe you should get into potatoes 🥔, there got a bigger name in OHIO . FOR $9 for a pc must be for 90mm plastic wrap and label 🏷. Buckin firewood 🪵 got the best way to bundles firewood 🪵 for little costs, plus but more Benjamin in your pockets. 😊

      That is one of the hidden pitfalls of firewood. I get a sore shoulder from counting all those $20 bills!
