I lost my job a few months ago and have been going through an existential depressive stage trying to work things out (adhd and being hormonal don't help at all). But I'm now studying a certificate 3 in Sanitation services with a view to work in a hospital (like sterilising reusable equipment) or work in pathology, and I've also contacted the local hospital house that accomodates the families of children with cancer to volunteer.

Love the bright colors of this set. I did my first Lazy Girl Polygel set and for some reason they all popped off after one week. Plus filling the underside is a pain. Maybe I just need more practice. Great video 👍.
Oh noooooo 🥺🩷 Honestly, the first couple of sets I did all popped off in a week 😅 it took a few months for me to get it. Maybe you could try using a different Dehydrator or base coat! Those two things make a big difference in my experience 🤗💜
I’m not sure if someone already said it but that gel looks like texture gel. It’s great for making tiny lines like the ones you see in a lot of nails lately. Miss Jo did a video on it. So cute set today!

I’ve have tried so many different peel off base coats and they never work like they do in those Korean videos, sorry. However I did find a product along with peel off base coat that works with a sorta easy removal. Like you, I do use a hard gel on my natural nails, they are so weak without it.😮 I use the Modelones Nail Polish Remover that is for Glue, Acrylic and Dip Powder from Amazon. It’s a newer product, but I used it on my last nails and it helped. You do need to file a little bit of the nail off but after soaking it with foil wraps they come off pretty good.😊 I like that the product is not drying. But you need to make sure you shake the product before using!!

I find that peel off base coats work best on top of gel top coat so maybe try not buffing the protective gel layer next time you're using the jello jello peel off base coat and see if that makes a difference on how easily they come off. Peel off base coats can just be picky but I found with the ones I use that leaving that solid unbuffed layer tends to be the easiest for me removal wise.

Oddly, I felt my week of covid gave me a break, too. I work from home so I managed a few hours each day then went and rested. I'm still dealing with congestion, but able to move around and what not. Now I have anti-bodies, so that's my silver lining. :D

I know it get expensive but I love it when you do haul videos. You could try soaking your nails in hot soapy water? The peel off base coat I use peels off after being soaked in hot water, I normally peel mine off in the shower, I’ve never tried the jello jello peel off base coat so it could be different Maybe peel of gel adheres to other gel like a normal gel would? so maybe you could try: normal peel polish, gel peel polish, soak in hot water, no rubber base gel? I’ve only started doing my nails recently so I could be wrong! Sorry if that’s confusing, I’m not great at explaining things 😅
Hi Anne Glad yr feelin bettr. I haven't evr used a peel off base but my experience with using a hard base coat then applying full cover tips wth a soak off gel. Is that it would not soak off. The hard coat seemd 2 change it all in2 a non soakable product. I wonder if yr base was soak off it would make a difference however it might defeat the purpose of the hard gel and take the lot off. Just my thoughts, not a nail tech 🎉

I do the jello jello on top if hard gel like you did and it does work but removing them is SUCH a sensory nightmare. Its not painful, but i FEEL it, ya know? Plus i end up using so much of the remover that idk.. maybe its not worth it😂
The bags are literally the bestt 😂🩷🎀💜 Also, I feel it...it takes like half a bottle per nail 😭😭😭😭 I get so frustrated I end up using $50 of remover and chopping them anyway 😂

OMG I’ve been working on a set of nails all day and the lawn care place for my condos came out and I stg they must have used the leaf blower for over an hour right outside my windows 🤬 I have horrible misophonia (and adhd) and it almost drove me to insanity. So I felt your pain 🤣😂

You could try soaking your nails in hot soapy water? The peel off base coat I use peels off after being soaked in hot water, I normally peel mine off in the shower, I’ve never tried the jello jello peel off base coat so it could be different
Maybe peel of gel adheres to other gel like a normal gel would? so maybe you could try: normal peel polish, gel peel polish, soak in hot water, no rubber base gel? I’ve only started doing my nails recently so I could be wrong!

Hi Anne Glad yr feelin bettr. I haven't evr used a peel off base but my experience with using a hard base coat then applying full cover tips wth a soak off gel. Is that it would not soak off. The hard coat seemd 2 change it all in2 a non soakable product. I wonder if yr base was soak off it would make a difference however it might defeat the purpose of the hard gel and take the lot off. Just my thoughts, not a nail tech 🎉
