Love your story! I am just about to start my DJ journey. I have had my book since it came out. I didn’t sign up for the BOM at Stitching Heaven until 2018. I’m now 75. I hope I can get my DJ done before I die. I sure wish I had a couple buddies to stitch with.

It is certifiably fun and challenging quilt to make. Got to hear Brenda' lecture and purchased her book in 2003 and glad I did. The quilt is just beautiful at so many levels.

I can certainly understand you not truly wanting to do another one. It's an incredibly beautiful quilt, but I feel it's one of those "once in a lifetime" things. I have the Electric Quilt software and book for the quilt, and I really do hope to start it at some point, but I am still feeling a bit intimidated. I'll get to it eventually, and if I don't want to take the whole bull by the horns, maybe I can do one that's just "inspired by." I learned a lot from this video talk. Thank you for sharing!
