These videos are so inspirational for me - not only for the decor and lifestyle tips but to live vicariously as I try to get myself in a place where I can move across the pond and enjoy that kind of life too. It's very motivating for me to see your simple day-to-day pleasures, Nicolas. Today was especially poignant. We are really in crisis here in America, and the climate change here in the Southern Californian desert is making it worse for me personally. Everything around me is brown and dying. There are days I can't go outside because of the heat or wind (soon likely to add smoke). The few moments of you walking with Sophie in that lush green setting brought tears to my eyes. My favorite part was when you were out sat in your garden just talking to us about your style and that you’ve been looking at others. Very honest, like a chat with an old friend. So I’ll be as candid here and say I admire your self awareness and would suggest that you be as organic as you like with your content knowing that process leads to perfection. You’re a young person, you are still learning, and learning begets change. And Growth! You remind me of myself at your age: your tastes, your style, your perfectionist temperament. Love the "spend a day with me" kind of vlog. Keeps things real imo. The "tiles" are looking really nice and definitely brightens the space a lot. So glad you followed Sophies advice on how to do the garden decorating.... I see her giving you directions from her comfy seating space 😀!! Another suggestion for your kitchen ware is to use Magic erasers to clean the burnt spots on your enamel pots. Works great for me. Have a great week!

Love your outdoor space! I can’t wait to see everything all dressed up and ready for full enjoyment! They make such nice outdoor fabrics these days, you’ll be able to get functional and fabulous... and maybe two extra cushions so Sophie can have “matching beds”, one in the shade and one in the sun! 😉😊🥰 Helpful hint on the plant pots for your tall bay trees, if you fill the bottom third with bricks or heavy stones it will help out in strong winds as well as allow for drainage. I often add a coffee filter over the drainage hole in the pot to prevent dirt from running all over my patio or deck. I then fill with potting soil and finish with some Sphagnum moss to help keep in hydration and look polished! Vlogs are always my favorite for the fact that they aren’t over produced, more relaxed and intimate and allow a greater connection of the creator to their viewers. However, I still like a beautifully produced video too, as well as a mash up of both... however, you might have to be more conscientious of the transitions in a mash up. You have such an eye for things aesthetically pleasing that you’ll instinctively know what feels right or when the transitions are too abrupt. I think you’ll love the freedom to have so much choice! I’m sorry the tile in the kitchen was so challenging, but whatever pain and anguish it caused, I think it is more than worth it! It looks absolutely magnificent! It’s amazing that a little change made such a huge and wonderful difference! We’ll pretend it is all finished and fabulous! Just a little TV magic until you get everything you require to finish the job! 😉☺️😊 Big pat on the back for tackling all the obstacles and it turning out amazing! Well done! 🥰😍🥰

The kitchen looks amazing. I like the vlog style video, it’s lovely seeing you filming around where you live in Edinburgh it looks beautiful and all the indie shops look so inviting to explore. I was also impressed when you said you wouldn’t be buying items for the garden just for the sake of getting a video finished, gardens evolve over time and it would be lovely to see little updates over the summer as how your plants are growing and any new little editions you add. 💕
I like the more relaxed vlog style. It's interesting, variety is nice, you're relaxed, the content is natural. Most people are here to get the feeling of hearing from a friend rather than to see something theme oriented.

Love the "spend a day with me" kind of vlog. Keeps things real imo. The "tiles" are looking really nice and definitely brightens the space a lot. So glad you followed Sophies advice on how to do the garden decorating.... I see her giving you directions from her comfy seating space 😀!! Another suggestion for your kitchen ware is to use Magic erasers to clean the burnt spots on your enamel pots. Works great for me. Have a great week!

The vlog style seems so much more relaxed and it had so many interesting elements in it. The garden/patio looks lovely and I know you will be adding even more wonderful touches. Love your outdoor space! I can’t wait to see everything all dressed up and ready for full enjoyment! They make such nice outdoor fabrics these days, you’ll be able to get functional and fabulous... and maybe two extra cushions so Sophie can have “matching beds”, one in the shade and one in the sun! 😉😊🥰 Helpful hint on the plant pots for your tall bay trees, if you fill the bottom third with bricks or heavy stones it will help out in strong winds as well as allow for drainage. I often add a coffee filter over the drainage hole in the pot to prevent dirt from running all over my patio or deck. I then fill with potting soil and finish with some Sphagnum moss to help keep in hydration and look polished!
Vlogs are always my favorite for the fact that they aren’t over produced, more relaxed and intimate and allow a greater connection of the creator to their viewers. However, I still like a beautifully produced video too, as well as a mash up of both... however, you might have to be more conscientious of the transitions in a mash up. You have such an eye for things aesthetically pleasing that you’ll instinctively know what feels right or when the transitions are too abrupt. I think you’ll love the freedom to have so much choice!
I’m sorry the tile in the kitchen was so challenging, but whatever pain and anguish it caused, I think it is more than worth it! It looks absolutely magnificent! It’s amazing that a little change made such a huge and wonderful difference! We’ll pretend it is all finished and fabulous!
