- Fragrance Du Bois is a luxury perfume house born from the richest essences of nature, and crafted by fifth generation perfumers from the 17th Century French tradition of Grasse.
At the heart of all Fragrance Du Bois’ creations is their signature Oud that exudes the ultimate in luxury, being both distinctive and unique. Oud is derived from the dark resinous wood of the Aquilaria tree, and the resin occurs in less than 7% of the trees in the wild. Pure Oud is therefore extremely precious, and due to illegal logging, wild resources have been severely depleted. Since 2004, all species of the Aquilaria tree have been protected under the CITES convention.
All fragrances contain 100% pure, sustainable Oud, managed on the Fragrance Du Bois plantations, guaranteeing to be ethically sourced and certified by CITES.

Love that house! Their products are expensive but the quality is undeniable. Oud Bleu Intense, Oud Vert Intense and Oud Rouge intense are my favorites from the brand.

Are they selling official sample packs from luckyscent? because I hate their small dabbing sample.
I bought a sample pack from The brand’s website and they are truly beautiful but I was very disappointed in the projection & longevity of all 5 of the samples. The price is waaaay to high to not fill the room when you walk in but not even close to that type of projection with my experience. Sits very close to the skin and only last a few short hours. Beautifully done and no doubt the quality of the ingredients is very high but for me, you gotta deliver on everything with that price point. I’ll enjoy wearing my samples but no full bottle in my future. Thanks for the review & introducing me to the brand!! BTW... I got my Navitus Discovery #2 set over the weekend... Love it!! 😍 I sent a review via email on the Navitus website. All 3 fragrances are beautifully done from top to bottom!! 🔥Very impressed!!

Hi Steven. I managed to buy a 50ml oud violet old packaging. I love it very much. I feel like trying a second bottle but I'm torn between oud Rouge, oud bleu and oud vert. Can you share your thoughts out of these three?

Which one of these are for men??
This might not be a fair comparison but how do you think they compare to houses like Ensar Oud/ Feel Oud?
For USD400+ I expected nothing less the extrait, not EDP :/
I would say these fragrances are a but more polished where as the other brands feature more naturals and they come across raw yet addictive. All are great!
Over the years of watching Steven I've developed a little system that has introduced me to some real gems... Steven being one of my all time favorite reviewers, the one who actually got me into collecting niche frags, so his opinion is something I take very seriously... But whenever Steven compares a note to another brands take on that note, for instance, in this video, he's reminded of ''the cardamom in Chi by Barutti." So I'll write that down cause if it's good enough for Steven to remember &/or to compare at the drop of a hat, IT'S GOT TO BE DAMN GOOD! This is what separates Steven from other reviewers... his photogenic fragrance memory provides several reviews in one! Lol! Keep em coming brother!

How much? $430 dollars for a 50 mL bottle? That's some serious cash right there but it's good. The more expensive niche brands have superb quality and ingredients in the juice. Luckyscent is a great choice to buy or sample niche fragrances. I love going to their boutique store once a month and getting my nose on new releases as other houses. Nice review, Steven.

I thought the music level was just fine. I can see if you're watching it on your phone and you have a low quality speaker that your voice and the music and become mixed and get muddy, but otherwise, I think the music level and your voice sounded fine. My only critique might be that I wish your mic was a little higher quality. Anyhow, thanks for the great overview!
No need for the music, you are a great speaker, your voice is the tone and tempo.... Add music perhaps ONLY to the images of the bottle or any text you display. Take care.
I really wish Lucky scent offered 2ml sprays. Those dabbers suck in my opinion and I feel like I cant get the true scent. Not to mention the blisters I get from opening those vials.

These overpriced fragrances seem like a parallel with how watches are priced now. When the watch companies realized there's a subculture of crazy wristwatch aficionados, they jacked up their prices until the true enthusiasts were priced out of the market. Now the bubble is about to burst.
