Does the current economic situation with all the layoffs and hiring freezes factor into the salary or levels? Will they now pay new hires less or hire at lower levels now? Thanks.

salary figure shown in youtube is not for any candidates. at the end of the day market is just concern with definitive logic 1. tech knowledge and 2. price in terms of ctc. more cheaper the candidate is more easy to get hired.

I am a CCNP with AWS Architect and SysOps certs as well as CISSP and PMP, I work for myself, but I get offers for around $225-$250k with 15 years experience in IT as a whole, 5 years in the cloud.

Something you didn't go over is the interview process. Your offer is heavily dependent upon whether or not you're a strong hire or not. If you interview weak and just enough for a panel to incline you, you are being brought in at the bottom of the pay band.

Probably AWS themselves (for full-time roles). Not too sure about contractor roles!

It won’t directly help - I’m assuming there are many factors that go into H1B
