Good discussion of 'consideration'. In a different age, we called the soap for poison ivy Fels Naptha. A bar still resides in the medicine cabinet 60+ years on.
My definition on "fine" woodworking is somethings that is: 1) functional 2) beautiful 3) skillfully executed All three of these require consideration (as Vic said) Some constructive feedback: This podcast does a LOT of name dropping. It's not a problem for me because I've been doing this awhile. But I remember as a beginner being very intimidated by both the jargon and name dropping of people I didn't know. I can easily see people asking "Who's Mike? Who's Chris? Who's Tim?" I know you can't go back to square one for every podcast, but please "consider" giving a little context to the people you reference. Thx.
Agree with the name dropping! I know who the people are now. And when you're as steeped in woodworking as these folks are it can be hard to realize how some people might be not as familiar. Great podcast tho!
Fine for me is much like @VicTesolinWoodworks talks about. Every aspect should be considered. Much like Ben I haven't made anything what i would consider "fine." at least not yet. Hopefully someday
Also want to shout out Amanda for really improving as a podcaster! She is learning so fast and i can't wait to see how the show grows and develops with her on it more! to ben. The guitar licks were silky smooth and a good add
Vic and Ben have convinced me to go down the 3D printer route. Do you guys have a listing showing some of the prints you were talking about on this episode?
Another great episode. Kudos to all three of you. I enjoy listening and contributing (although only to myself).
It is consideration to have Vick on the show. That’s what makes it good Canadian metrically fine woodworking!
Thanks Ben for confessional. Many of us are in the same boat.

I think a lot of people don’t understand the difference between MDF and regular particle board.
one is good for painting and the other is good for nothing
