After following the process of recovery for the last few weeks, I was shocked to see Yoann at the end of the video. That must have been only a day or two after the crash, and you were already putting a up a good face and smile to close the trip. Yoann, you uniquely represent the joy we draw from mountain biking. Even if you don't post a lot of videos on your channel anymore, when you do, I immediately want to jump on my bike and get lost in the woods. I met you in Chile for a EWS race a few years back and you were in person the exact same guy you are in your videos. Happy, approachable and full of positive energy and enthusiasm. Don't lose that because it's contagious and energizing for everyone who encounters you. I wish you a full recovery and hope to see you on the trails again soon.
So good to see Yoann up and about and in good spirits. And to all the trail builders out there, so grateful for your hard work, dedication and imagination.
Stoke level was high with the DeVinci crew, great to see those vibes. Was hard to watch, knowing Yoann's crash was coming but I'm glad to see you recovering. Please take your time and fully heal up Yo, we love ya!
So sick! Love seeing the devinci factory. I always knew it was made right in Chicoutimi but seeing how much of a local operation it is warmed my heart. I love them spending what I would assume is more money to keep their operation local and pay Canadians to do the job. This made me want to support devinci so much. Next bike will be a spartan fersure! 🇨🇦
First half of the video, the editing is awesome. You can really feel the contagious happyness Yoann and Steve bring. Too bad you had that horrible crash. Heal well!
Thanks for sharing that Yoann. That was a scary crash. Glad you lived to tell the tale. Super glad you're still with us, and really looking forward to watching you ride again. I've learned a lot from watching you, Stevo, and Rémy ride.
Yoann it's great to know that you are well and that you are working on your recovery, everything is going to go very well friend, this year Rémy and now you (Steve also a year ago) with accidents, strength! They are an important source of inspiration, greetings
Awesome video. Really liked the devinci visit and seeing you having fun riding with the employees. Great showcase for Quebec too. Your happiness in the video is contagious. Good luck with the hand.
Amazing riding and good vibes here! I have seen the crash in one short video and it scared me to the bone. One must be such strong to get out of this kinda crash with only "some stitches " , or incredibly lucky😅. Quick recovery to you Yoann! Keep shredding guys🤘
Good luck with the recovery Yohan, that was a nasty crash, lucky to have mates around, it could have been disastrous, I broke my neck 7 months ago, it's a long road to recover, 🤟
Watching from Australia. Awesome video the trails in Quebec look sick. That crash was nasty! I always wear full face helmets, the half lids offer very minimal protection and no protection to your face.
Met you on IN n OUT this summer during my first attempt on it. Was a highlight of the trip. Glad to see you are recovering. Hope to see you on the trails again soon.
i had no idea that, that was coming. Glad your ok, hope the hand is getting better and that facial nerve thing too. Great riding and showcasing such a cool place. I have to go there, especially since it's fairly close to me. Thanks for posting guys.
Just subscribed, loved the episode! Get well soon! 🤘🏽 This sport is high concequence... That’s why I am always wearing a full face helmet and pads. Next on my list is chest protection.
uff speedy recovery my friend! My front wheel washed out on a slippery plank of wood at the bike park one time, it was cool and drizzling that day the speed at which I hit that plank of wood, I will never forget I learned my lesson that day you can bet your ass I'm never being that careless again I was lucky to not break my kneecap. It was just badly bruised. Put me out for 3 to 4 weeks.
That was pretty painful to watch as you were coming at it with quite some speed. Great to see that you are pretty tough just wanting to get back out there again. Hope your fingers will sort themselves out so no surgery. Best of luck.
Hard to see ! have a great recovery Yo.
Don't worry about the nerve - you likely nicked it close to the supraorbital foramen, on your eyebrow ridge (guessing you're lacking sensation over your forehead too). Similar thing happened to me playing hockey (skate to the face), and only pieced together the anatomical and physiological parts in physiotherapy school. If I'm right, the nerve will grow back in time, and motor function will come back. Might not be 100%, but also not typically something to worry about. (Disclaimer: RUclips watching diagnoses are obviously not reliable pieces of any form of medical advice, so trust your doc - medical things can be scary, particularly if you don't know why something is going on, so just wanted to dampen any concerns to say it might not be as serious as it seems) Best of luck getting back to full gas!

La musique québécoise en plus. Nice touch!
Awesome video! I can't wait that you guys come back and to see more images of you riding here! Bon reste de rétablissement Yoann!
SO SO MUCH FUN watchin the 2 of you and the whole Devinci team
Yoann it's great to know that you are well and that you are working on your recovery, everything is going to go very well friend, this year Rémy and now you (Steve also a year ago) with accidents, strength! They are an important source of inspiration, greetings

No one gonna talk about the way steve was eating that hot dog
Hahahah! ❤
“Maybe we shouldn’t talk” hahaha, cheers from Bend!
Great video! Shame about your crash scray stuff! Speedy recovery!!
Glad you're recovering and thanks for sharing. That was heavy
Editing and sound track is amazing. Speedy recovery to Yoann.
Honestly some of the hardest Quebec shredding I've ever seen. Those berm gaps in e47 are just filthy
Get recovery well mate we love you! Keep safe and take big brake. ❤
I LOVE every video with Steve, guys a MADMAN!!! Hotdog eating abilities... sub-par...
All the best healing vibes for the full recovery of that scary crash. Just can't wait to see that unfinished chapter at Sentier du Moulin...
That pink/golden ride looked epic!
It was a pleasure to have you in Québec ✌
Awesome video. Really liked the devinci visit and seeing you having fun riding with the employees. Great showcase for Quebec too. Your happiness in the video is contagious. Good luck with the hand.
Quebec is basically western BC with less elevation. Some of the best riding in the world. Definitely Quebec is the best in Eastern North America IMO.
I have a 2020 Devinci Troy, and I love this All Mountain bike! Those Canadians do excellent work. I've put over 4K miles on it since I bought it.

If I'm not mistaken, carbon frames are made oversea (read here asia) and the bikes are assembled in the chicoutimi factory!
Awesome video.
What model rides Barelli? I love this colous of the frame.
T’es le meilleur 🤘🏻

26:14 fork working🤤
Stevo : Maybe we should not talk...
hahahahaha
Am I surprised to hear that Devinci is recalling 900 frames after Yoann and Steve used the welding equipment?? What have you guys messed with????🥵
What brand helmet is everyone wearing??? and wouldnt it be more wise even for Steve and Yoann to wear gloves and full face !
Why was Steve not there on the day of the crash?
Tour de Devinci

Sorry but real men climb to E47 top by themselves!
