Dr. Paisley was used by God to bring peace to Northern Ireland. Generations will be blessed by this man of peace. It cost him the church he started.

Ireland will never be free from England! If the Protestants want a country they can go to England and live, and get out of Ireland! If the Protestants still want to stand behind the country that Invaded Ireland ( a country the Protestants also live in) then the Protestants are nothing more than Traitors to the country that they were born in! @@davidconnolly2588 What does your comment mean? As much as I hate the man, i once (reluctantly) read a book about Paisley life. I was surprised to learn that during European meeting, Paisley was highly regarded for his work for Ulster and religion was never an issue. My comment is meant to say that Paisley was brilliant in EU, but on returning home he (had to?) return to type as expected by supporters.

@@heartofjesusdj All I know as someone who lived in Ballymena during the 70'2 and 1980's and who is of the "wrong" religion, it was a shit time. second class citizen. All I wanted was to be happy and could leave my home without being beaten up. My older brother was in a pub and in conversation with his friends, suggested that peace could only be achieved by power sharing. My brother went to the toilet and told my brother to leave straight away because some "paramilitary" thugs had over heard him and had a reputation for sectarian shootings. Not long after as a family we moved to England. In England people sometimes say " I went to school with etc. My new life in England started at th age of 17! I had to leave all my friend etc for all this shit! Have been told that hen talking about first jobs. To mention H&W and to be told "no Chance". Fucking shit.....
Paisley had it first hand that The British Government wasn’t going to give up Ulster. All the murders and killings and they sit together in a sense of togetherness. Paisley and the Uniounists were appeased for this. Now in 2023 we will set the 6 counties free. 💚🤍🧡🍀
