Divinity Original Sin 2 will always be an unforgettable OST of Slavlov's! It was a fantastic move to have each character have their very own theme. I will never forget the Seekers Camp where your personalized instrument that you chose at the start of the game plays a rendition of the Camp's theme. Absolutely immersive! (also Bansuri for life lol)
Raphael's theme was such a pleasant surprise, it rung loudly of Raphy-Taphy's rotted personality. He sings to you as he bashes you. Amazing performance :) He is transcending past your typical composer through the fearlessness of experimentation. The theme of Shar's Temple also had personality. The way it started as something very faint and ominous in the first 2 acts only to develop into a legitimate chorus of danger (almost mirroring that of the Mountain King, now that I think of it). I found this music to be absolutely fitting along with Shadowheart's story with her memories being cast away only to be reeled in one by one until the final revelation she had to face. Incredibly memorable

I've been listening to the Divinity 2 soundtrack on spotify for years...One of my favorite things about BG3 is being able to walk up to a group of npcs playing instruments and join in. You can have this little concert in the game and it is so much fun. With DOS, it was having your character have an instrumental theme. When you dropped and enemy in battle the battle theme changed, it was so immersive. I don't think I have loved video game music in something quite this much since the days of Chrono Trigger. Well done.

BG3 Soundtrack rivals Yoko Kano in the amount of perfect melodies and home-run shots. I have no doubt that the production of this music required an inordinate amount of hours and a collaboration of exceptional musicians, but celebrate Boris Slavov for making all the pieces come together for this. Wow. I mean, the bard songs are just a joy to play solo on the guitar. Joyful, simple melodies at their core, but robust emotional and complex when you hear them played with a full ensemble. More than a few tracks take you on a journey of crisis, conflict, and resolution....then end with this somber melody reminding you that youre never really done.

I listen to this soundtrack regularly- daily, even.
Oddly, two of my favorite songs are from the Connect the Transponders and Nautiloid Crash sequences. They’re short, but they perfectly capture the moments and I can *see* the scenes so vividly in my mind when I hear those songs.
Anyways, the whole soundtrack rules. I hum the main theme way too often.

Simply the soundtrack I listened to the most in 2023. My Spotify retrospective proves this. Thank you very much, Mr. Slavov, for the incredible work!

I first god mesmerized by the score in the character creation - a first in my 20+ years of gaming.
Then I remember stopping in my tracks to listen to the Harpies tune... Alfira's song... The crèche hatchery tune ("Wash My Dreams Away")... And all of the other tracks that set the mood perfectly.
It feels surreal to fall in love with so much music.
Even more to learn much later that the composer is from your own little country. I am beyond happy to recommend this score to all of my friends even without the context of the game. It's simply that emotionally resonant.

The very fact he sings out the songs initially makes for solid foundation of catchiness in the riffs. Great method!

Fan-girl scream here. Discovered Bobby Slavov through BG3 and ended up listening to stuff in DOS2 as well. Omg, the beautiful layering in the movements of the main theme. I keep hearing different things each time I run through it. Thank you so much for giving us this soundtrack. And yep, Bard Dance is one of my favourites.

I haven't even played the game yet but I have all this music in the background or as the main thing I'm doing. I sing along with or without it. Incredible music ❤❤❤. Truly inspiring.
It gets me through my day, it brings me peace and joy.

This man somehow maintains humility while being compared, side-by-side, with the modernization of the classic Zelda music (Adaptations in ToTK), a respectable and creative guy^ (a well deserved comparison IMO, truly beautiful work Mr. Slavov!!! [You channeled your inspiration into the tracks beautifully, and I can't imagine the game without your specific contribution!])

Do you know "divine's lament" (Bonus Song) from Divinity OS 2? If you like "I want to live", I highly recommend it.
