- We got the chance to meet Christina Grimmie a few weeks before the tragic incident of June 10, 2016. To honour Christina's life and talent, we wanted to share our last interview with her.

My first impression when I saw this video posted was why this interview was unreleased until now? This reminds me of when iHeartRadio uploaded a video recently of Christina's performance when she opened their festival last year even though they didn't broadcast her performance live outside of Periscope.
These organizations didn't do jack to help promote her or help her achieve success while she was alive, but seem eager to jump at the chance to exploit her death for page views now. It's disgusting.

If you look at the tour dates, her Toronto show (where this was filmed) was June 5th. The Orlando show, where she was shot, was June 10th. I think it's fair to say that it's not unreasonable for a company to release an interview 11 days after it was filmed, so I don't think this was done in a similar fashion to the iHeartRadio situation.

she did go back home, but with God :). Death is a kind of thing that, yes, is VERY heart breaking and sad, yet, it's also a very happy thing: your loved one is up in heaven (...um, hopefully... :\) with the created of it all and our heavenly Father... :) So, just remember that death doesn't "have" to be so depressing :).

My thought is that man created God in his imagination when he realised his weaknesses, limitations and shortcomings. In this way he got the courage to face all the trying circumstances and to meet all dangers that might occur in his life and also to restrain his outbursts in prosperity and affluence. God, with his whimsical laws and parental generosity was painted with variegated colours of imagination. He was used as a deterrent factor when his fury and his laws were repeatedly propagated so that man might not become a danger to society. He was the cry of the distressed soul for he was believed to stand as father and mother, sister and brother, brother and friend when in time of distress a man was left alone and helpless. He was Almighty and could do anything. The idea of God is helpful to a man in distress.

People don’t realise that individuals like her have their on and off days, just like everybody else. It’s like these well-known individuals have to put on this “I’m always happy” face. If something was definitely off, she obviously wouldn’t broadcast it on tv, because it’s not our business

SHE ONLY HAD TWO MORE SHOWS FOR THE TOUR BEFORE IT WAS OVER!!! TWO MORE SHOWS AND SHE COULD HAVE BEEN HOME SAFE. Team Grimmie, I'm still struggling with how to grieve...I'm hurting so much.
This actually almost made me cry when she said "when I get home". RIP
But Christina went home. At this time she was on tour with Rachel Platten. This tour ended in March and Christina went home, before going on tour again in May! So she was at home after this interview (tour).

She sounds so genuine and sweet. It's so horrible what happened. She didn't deserve to have her life cut short like it was. She had a beautiful voice, and it's good that there are videos of her singing we can still watch. I'm in a band and do keyboards and occasionally vocals, and I understand her love of music. Rest in Peace, Christina.

She had no label, Island dropped her in 2014 because they were focusing on promoting bigger names, which is untrue because the other "bigger" name they signed and they're promoting right now didn't had as much followers

I will never forget how talented you were and what a beautiful soul you were. People seem to be commenting on her body language and how she seems uncomfortable here. I also want to put in a few things that are often overlooked since her passing. A Couple of hours followed after her death , her twitter was hacked and someone posted "The End." (to me, even 2 years later, i find this disturbing and macabre.)
Then Beiber and Gomez were on tour during the time and promoted her passing at their concerts. The next night, the Orlando shooting happened at the bar. She was certainly rising up there, there is no doubt she was being targeted. The killer Kevin threw away his computer hard drive and locked his phone before driving to Orlando, making his information inaccessible, perhaps he was hired by someone. Then 10 days prior to her concert, the staff at the Plaza venue was fired and replaced by new people. I'm not a conspiracy theorist either, but i do believe its good to question everything, and not just believe what the media tells us. There's something darker and deeper that many people haven't bothered to look into about this..My deepest condolences to the family.
It still hurts so bad to think about her.

Her cover from "Hello" by Adele is my favourite. It confuses me that she felt mixed about it. Hearing that she wanted to perform a crossover with Lindsey saddens me cause I'd have loved to see that.
She did an amazing job but Adelle is a tough act to follow. She was a perfectionist.

I think she would, but it's so damn hard. There is still videos of her singing that I can't watch without burst in tears, and then get mad at myself bc I know that it's not what she would wanted. She would wanted as to listen her music and feel happiness, not pain and tears.

Everyone is commenting that this is awkward or coming up with conspiracies as to why she seems so quiet or timid here; I get it, it’s saddening to see her so tired or off but I think she was just tired.
I genuinely just think she was missing her family, friends, and her boyfriend here. She also had a bunch of interviews in this exact outfit and spot, she was probably tired.
I’m happy she was able to enjoy the rest of tour and hang with friends later though 💚

I almost feel like this is her having a one on one with god looking back over her life and career and reviewing everything, seeing as this was released after her passing. but this is very depressing, hearing how fondly she spoke of her diet with Sam and seeing her brother their with her.

I’m just watching this and hearing her talk about Zelda and League of Legends has broken me. She passed away before Breath of the Wild and the entire world is enthralled in League lore thanks to Arcane. I feel like she’d be our unspoken world leader in today’s time and probably the single entity that unites all of us.

It is so awesome that a unreleased interview was posted of the incredible Christina Grimmie. It is so terribly sad and should have never happened. I can't imagine what her family and friends must be going though but I pray for them. Christina had the most incredible voice and talent, and she will be so missed by her family friends and we the fans. But, I take comfort in the music she left us all to enjoy forever!!! Christina, such a bright light on the earth, people with the huge talent she had are few. RIP Christina!!!
