Abbey I love your videos so much!!! Thank you for giving me so much inspiration and for helping me see that homeschooling in HS is totally doable. My girls will be in 9th grade next year and I am quite stressed. I’m so thankful to have found your channel this year!🌸
Have you already done a video where you’ve shown a lesson from the geography and cultures course through Guest Hollow? I would really love to see that. 😊

I have a video in my GH playlist giving an introduction to the geography and culture course and I *might* have shown more in some DITL videos from that year. I don't think I've done a specific video on individual lessons. I've still got some of the materials on hand from that year. I'll see if I can include a look during the upcoming Q&A video.

Have y'all done the EIL American literature? If so, did you do a review or a flip-through? If not, what did y'all think?

We did not. Her freshman year my daughter did the EIL Literature and Composition (their English 2 course) and then she did Apologia's American Lit her sophomore year.

@@mypracticallyimperfectlife thanks. I've looked into the Aplogia one also. Is there a writing component within the text? I can't tell from the sample you can see on their website.

How many hours a day does she work on school?

During the bulk of the school year, I would say they average 5-5.5 hours a day. My oldest prefers to get up early and work pretty consistently until about 12:30 or 1 before she heads out for golf practice or work. Lately she has been using some of her evening free time to spend extra time on her final papers or reading assignments for literature. She would like to wrap up some of those bigger end of year projects early since her golf season is so busy
