      I've been sitting and staring at my square thinking the same thing! Or how, if I made two of them and just kept making them bigger then I could wrangle them into becoming the back and front of a gorgeous pullover. I'm stash busting and used peacock blue for the first seven rounds, then aran cream for rounds 8 thru 11 and back to the peacock blue for the 12th. Now I'm thinking how pretty one in bubblegum pink and sage green would be too. So many possibilities with it and we've only gone 12 rounds!

      Don't know for sure if it will help cause I haven't had mine long enough to know yet, but I bought myself a Boppie original nursing pillow at Target. I've been told that if you use it wrapped around yourself with the pillow part in front of you and your arms resting upon it that that will help elevate your work and put less of a strain on your shoulders from holding up your work and your neck from looking down at your work. Felt a bit odd, I'm old enough to have a great grandchild lol, buying it for myself but if it helps who cares?!? 😄

    Mikey so happy to be part of this summer crochet along.I really enjoy your teaching style and personal anecdotes. I am however having trouble with the 7th round. The written instructions state to place the Tr2tog over the ch-1 space from 5th and. I have gone back to your video and the written instructions and no ch-1 stitch was included in this round. Just wondering where the Tr2tog stitch should be put. It is a little difficult to see in the video. I tried putting the stitch in the sc from rnd. Not sure if that is correct. The very first Tr2tog stitch does not seem to come out right. Can an update be provided. Thanks Carolyn in California.

    Do you ever use the magic loop for the center ring? Can we chose our own colors?

    • @wendylcm7643
      @wendylcm7643 Год назад

      You can color it however you wish. There aren't any rules, you don't have to follow our coloring.
      Magic loop - isn't something he uses a ton, mostly for stuffies, so there isn't a hole left behind. You can try to use it for your piece, if it buckles on you, it might smooth out in later rounds.

    All was well until we got to "go into this space here"......I'm struggling to understand so I can do what you are saying. Am trying to watch as carefully as possible.....am suddenly, totally lost......"this one in this side" description doesn't help me find where to plant my hook.......I am old and learned from written patterns. "this one right here" makes sense, but not if I'm lost as to what "one' you are referring to. I've newly learned to read diagram patterns. I can understand written patterns. I just get lost and confused with a talking and demonstrating teacher. Your work is lovely. I wish I could hang with you on these beautiful demonstrations. I have skills, I understand terms.......my study of Determination is getting a FAIL.

      No it won't. it's only 60ish" square. You need 90" square for a queen bed.

    • @snospmoht3252
      @snospmoht3252 Год назад

      I've counted 32. That's counting the corners and right up to and including one of the 2 chains between the stacked singles on each side corner. If you don't count the corner parts at all (the 2 stacked, 2 chains, 2 stacked) then I get 26 per side. No idea if I'm right or wrong though. Anybody else want to chime in please?

      @@cynthiashaffer3053 Did you get a printed pattern from them already? I still haven't gotten one yet despite signing up for it the first day we could. And I don't remember Mikey saying what the stitch count was at the end of any round. Where did you get that info?

    • @snospmoht3252
      @snospmoht3252 Год назад +1

      @cynthiashaffer3053 Aha! Got an email response from Yarnspirations! The actual pattern was in the 'lesson' link in my email. I thought that was just the video of the lesson and didn't even look at it since I follow Mikey on RUclips and didn't want to download a video of it to my device. So after reading the pattern, my count IS correct lol. They just don't count the chain 2's that are in the corners at all for some reason.
