That's how I always used to call it back in the day haha, this game lasted a week on my PS2, then I just replayed THPS2 and 3 over and over.

The plant, grind, and flatground modifier tricks would probably help with those high score and combo challenges.

Had PTSD rewatching the c-o-m-b-o letters in carnival. Nothing made 9 year old me angrier than that challenge

I'm pretty sure you can wallride the wall beside the dragon ride where you were missing the B in the COMBO challenge.
In challenge with tricks and bell, you can hit bell once and continue doing all tricks in one combo, i think this challenge might be possible
I think you can pivot on manuals and nose manuals in this game.
Try hitting R2 while doing a manual to pivot,
Should help get you more points while trying to link those long combos.
Try to get used to double hitting R2 while coming off ramps so you land into a revert, then go into a manual and hit R2 again after your manual starts to pivot

You can use a DualShock 4 with PCSX2!! & probably an Xbox controller but I haven't tried that specifically.

DS4's are only $40!!!
40 is much. And he needs some software to it. I would recommend DS3. Better for THPS. But needs Software too.
And Xbox One Controllers work out of the box. The 2nd version with BT too.
@@adrenaliner91 You dont need DS4Windows to use the DS4 with PCSXR, and I dont think you need it for PCSX2. I COULD BE wrong, but I'm pretty sure I remember just mapping the buttons in the configuration menu.
@@HazyJ28 Hmm I'm pretty sure without it I can't control anything in PCSX2 and any other Software. With the exception of some PC games, f.e. WWE 2K20, if the game feels like to work with it... Sometimes.

THPS 4 is my least favorite game of the whole Neversoft series. Besides your air and speed, your stats mean nothing. Whether it's zero or max the grind, manual, and lip never gets better. Just pure luck and prayer to hold the balance meter. And the further you max your stats the more broken the game gets lol It's the only Tony Hawk game I've ever raged quit and threw the controller across the room from the snake run luge and being shit on by an elephant.
The challenges in this game are so bad and boring it actually looks like playing with 0 stats is the only way to make them fun (and frustrating I guess).
Watching you play Tony Hawk is like having Toothache......A Fuckin Nightmare
