Seeing sharks getting noble portrayals is a breath of fresh air. Makes a good change from "heroic" animals in cartoons always being foxes, domestic dog breeds and other mainstream "cute and majestic" animals all the time
i always watch street sharks when i was 5 years old. but now i'm 25 its been 20 years since my first watch . just remembering my awesome childhood ..

I ate Street Shark gummies and watched this show all the time in first grade...
I had a Streaks rubber hand puppet when I was younger, I thought it was so cool, I would "bite" my brother with it. & I also thought it was so cool how they travel underground.
One of my cousins owned a Street Sharks on a dirtbike or motorcycle toy, and it also talks.
Just found my old Street Sharks figures, and now my 2 year old nephew is playing with them. So much nostalgia it’s unreal.
man this show inspired me as a kid. I grew up rewatching the episodes on vhs and reading the comics. This show was so Jawsome.
This is so 90s it hurts.

I probably like it better than Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The baby turtles mutating seems strange in my opinion, but they did grow up to be teenage turtles, and it took days or years to happen.

Actually, it is real! I used to watch it on TV, but it's not on TV anymore. The complete TV series collection is available on DVD and Blu-ray.

Whoops, made a little error! Lena appears later in the episode A Shark Among Us. As far as I know that was her last appearance in the show.

This is a basic thing. They are half-Shark, half-man, they should be able to breath underwater. It would be like the Ninja Turtles not being able to retreat into their shells.

Pretty great, but it's unfortunately missing my favorite character of the show, Roxie
Roxie was the best. It was so revolutionary that the Street Sharks creators were thoughtful enough to give female viewers a female hero to look up to.
My favorite episode with Roxie was "The Shiva Saga."

I never noticed when I was a kid, but all these shows were just people trying to make their own TMNT. It was one big radical, tubular anthropomorphic animal fighting force money grab.

Street Sharks and Extreme Dinosaurs originated from Mattel. I do know there were live performances of Hot Wheels and Monster High. I hope they reboot the show, and put out new episodes (TV series or online episodes would be fine, either of them is), and then make a 3D movie, and do not remake full episodes, and then put them in movies like they did in the movies that were released while the show was going, and then bring in the live action. There was a show where they teamed up with the Dino Vengers, and then the Dino Vengers got their own show called Extreme Dinosaurs, and they were renamed Extreme Dinosaurs, but before doing that series, give those dinosaurs (Dino Vengers or Extreme Dinosaurs, but I mostly prefer the name Dino Vengers) their own show, and then make the crossover, and make the crossover have it's own series instead of being part of the Street Sharks series like they did years ago. Sorry about my long comment, but I wonder if Mattel would do their business that way, but your idea might work, if they bring back Street Sharks which I do not think will be happening, because Disney now owns it, and Mattel mostly seems concerned about keeping Barbie and How Wheels going.
