Incredible episode. Sam is so wise beyond her years and emotionally intelligent to the nth degree. I sincerely admire how mature and self-actualized she seems to be, I love how she allowed herself to be so vulnerable and raw but also took accountability for her blind spots and didn’t throw Kory under the bus in any way whatsoever.
She’s quite the gem and I really really hope we get to see her in some capacity in the future Bravosphere.

1000%! I feel like she is the first person Bravo has cast in a while that has actually added to the show. She isn't about the drama, she is real as fuck, understands herself really well, and always has something insightful to say. Unlike the "influencers in bed" road Summer House had been going down the past couple years. She is so interesting to watch, I hope nothing but the absolute best for her.

The only thing interesting about Kory is that he was dating Sam. I'm so glad that she chose herself first. She is so vulnerable here, I just want to hug her.
This should be mandatory viewing for every young adult dating- without disparaging him, Sam explained how they each viewed the relationship and, despite loving him, she understood at her core that she had to end the relationship because being with someone who does not love you is no way to live. As a mom of three, I hope my kids will make the same decision if they find themselves in Sam’s position because the thought of them (and Sam❤) being in love but not loved in return breaks my heart. Thank you Sam for opening up and thank you Amanda for a wonderful interview.

Sam, so pleased that you ultimately chose yourself. I did just notice at the end though - the comment he made about how he wouldn't be awful to you as friends or something similar "because I respect you too much." That's a clear case of words not following actions. He didn't show you regard and respect and especially not with the 48 hour silent treatment, which I believe was a form of "punishment" for asking him about new year when he had the relationship nicely controlled as something less than that. He knew that you were trying to play it cool which he translated as not feeling able to keep him if you expressed your own wants and needs - and he took advantage of that the whole time. Why is he still trying to convince you that he "respects you?" because you and he talk about marketing and you're a professional - free marketing advice? useful, when you're opening a chain of gyms. He also doesn't want his public image tarnished more than necessary. I think you can see through elements of that because of the details you gave in this interview. I can't know how deep Kory's manipulation went but I think you've been dealing with something of a narcissist. Most likely a covert one. I'm so pleased for you that you're free of that and free to find someone that makes you happy and feel safe and secure.

I just love her so much. She’s learning so much invaluable information about herself. This is a part of growing. Cannot wait for her to find the love she deserves.
I wish Amanda would have kept going at what she was trying to say. Kory is not all that good looking to be acting like that. People (understandably) get distracted by his height and body but the face card declines.

I actually do not find him attractive at all, honestly he makes me ill. A dude that carries himself the way he does, and tells people including his gf that all the women he’s met in the house want to sleep w him… gross. Men didn’t talk or act like that when I was their age…. And I’m only in my mid 30s. I could never ever date a dude like that. It’s weird
Where would Kory really be if not for these shows? Honestly, they (Shep, Austen, even Craig) get some much attention because they are on tv. If they weren’t, would anyone really care for them?

Did no one see his relationship with Jess on the first winter house? He’s not stupid..he literally said playing hard to get works and then did the same thing to her. Hot and heavy then..who are you again? From what Sam’s saying, it sounds like he led her to breakup and then played shocked/wish it could have worked out/yadayada

I don’t know if I’m the only one that notices this but Sam has very similar communication as Lauren Conrad. Her facial expressions and her communication reminds me soo much of her

I really hate it whenever a really strong type a big personality bubbles up the room enjoys to talk just like any guy would be praised for gets put down just because they’re a girl. These are all very very good character traits to have and there is nothing wrong with them and it’s actually exactly why you got the career you were looking for and everything is because of how boisterous you are so anyone telling you to quiet down in social situations is maybe not understanding that people are different and that they are who they are not necessarily coming from a bad place, but you have to let people be who they are authentically and not shoot them down when they are being authentically who they are

Great interview. I don't agree with all her conclusions, but Sam was VERY relatable. Bottomline Kory doesn't seem ready to forsake all others yet for anyone... Sam please find someone that is looking for what u want on a relationship, it's easier when u do. U r q catch and it's so not worth ur time trying to convince someone of that.❤

You are such a darling Sam. When you first came on Summer house, I didn’t know what to think about you. You can call it stereotyping, because I thought you might be stuck up, or a mean girl.
But really Sam, I think you are beautiful both in side and out.
Kory is cool, and he’s very magnetic, he’s got that spark people need in their life’s.
I truly believe you’ll find a man that you will later look back at this time with Kory, and thank God, it didn’t workout.
Loneliness or just wanting to be a pair, and not be alone can blind us. And you said it well when you said ‘in so many words’ that you overlooked the obvious, and your ego thought you were doing all the right things, and thinking to yourself I’m pretty and I’m smart, what’s not to love.
It just breaks my heart that your heart was broken, darling. Saying I love you is such a vulnerable position, and when it’s not reciprocated, it’s crushing.
You will rise above this and, you’ll be stronger, as you well know.

I prayed for my husband 45 years ago. God knows each and everyone’s heart, and He knows better than we, what’s best for us, and it might be completely different than we could ever have imagine.
This interview hits. Moving out of that phase of your life when you’re accepting less than you deserve, from that one relationship that breaks your heart. It’s one of the hardest times. But also teaches you so much ❤️ proud of you Sam.

I don’t feel personally like I got to know Maya and I didn’t get to see enough of Maya or get to know her personality enough but I feel like I got to see Sam’s personality and I’m really interested in it so I think what she’s doing is working and my advice, so it may not have come from a bad place may not have been advise that needs to be taken

I love her. I wish they didn’t produce so much on the show and we could have seen her personality more and not her stress reaction from being dropped into drama where they tell her how not to act while forcing that reaction- it’s manipulative.

Malia is a pick me and deserves the sort, Jordan came on the scene celebate on Martha’s Vineyard turning all them dudes down but quickly wanted to jump Kory’s bones on Winter House just about knocking the door down hmm Sam is the Winner here!

Enjoyed this but the part about being upset about Jordan - need to remember that although Kory told Sam he’d told them he was in a relationship he actually didn’t! He gave a half assed “sorta seeing” story about their relationship so those girls ultimately thought he was fair game
I think Sam is amazing but she said it herself that as an adult she needs to work on how she picks her men...Kory is a great example of this. She deserves so much better.
