  • Without a pressure washer and still achieving favorable results, I experimented cleaning stucco with laundry detergent and DAWN dish soap. If you have mold, try adding TSP, Borax, Vinegar, or Bleach to the solution. Be careful using too much bleach because it can "whiten or fade" your stucco color and then, you may need to "touch-up" with paint. For smaller area applications, this approach may work. NOTE: For bristle brush hand scrubbing selection, I suggest large, medium and small surface size brushes with "SOFT BRISTLES." Hard or stiff bristles can potentially damage your stucco surface during scrubbing. I am not a professional, just someone sharing my results and doing so economically.

The stucco became discolored due to rain and roof run off. It still looks great almost 2 years later. This approach worked well for me but be sure to use a "soft" bristle brush so you don't destroy your stucco. Good luck Hai.

If your stucco/paint is in decent condition buy/use a power washer it takes way less time and has tons of uses.

Yes, be it that you set the PSI or pressure flow correctly and adjust your nozzle angle/distance to the target accordingly but I did not own one at the time nor did I want to go out and buy one. So, I found another way. I have found other bits of information regarding power or pressure washing stucco for those researching the topic :
      washh.com/how-to-clean-stucco/ and airestoration.com/can-you-pressure-wash-stucco/
Otherwise, if you're not careful, you can destroy your stucco and or create moisture related problems down the road. Thanks for stopping by and I hope the links can help other people out.
