Thank you SO much for posting this! We had taped this exact program off TV back in the day, but that tape must have gotten thrown away 30 years ago. So glad to see these classic ads again.

I'm glad you're keeping your videotapes because if I'd recoreded the movies with commercials, then I would've kept my tapes, stored 'em and posted the old commercials online. That's why I love watching 'em, including some that I remember. I remember the Juicy Fruit gum commercial with its musical jingle. The slogan was this: "The taste is gonna move ya." I remember the Kleenex tissue commercial with its jingle. The slogan was this: "Kleenex says 'bless you'". I remember the McDonald's commercial that featured the McDLT, including the fancy sesame seed bun, burger patty, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise. These commercials aired in my 1st-grade year (1985-86). They aired 3 days before Thanksgiving 1985.
