What a privilege it is to see quilts of such high caliber and that are so beautiful. I loved Sheri’s quilts, and Kimberlee’s quilts and also the modern quilts. I love Friday’s!!
Love each of your videos! They inspire me to sew on my different quilt projects and stay on track. While I love seeing all of your finished quilts I miss the weekly updates on your progress for each quilt. For example, you rarely showed the blocks you made in the cookbook or sweet dreams quilts. I find your updates inspire me to stay focused. I reminds me of your cross stitch schedule and I love that. I love seeing your amazing finishes but don’t forget the weekly progress updates! Fat quarter shop is amazing! Thanks for the hard work!
As a new quilter, I continue to struggle reading patterns. I wish you had a video that explains how you determine which paper patterns (square in a square, triangle paper etc). Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I sincerely appreciate it.
I have been quilting for more than 40 years. There are hundreds who write patterns, and many do NOT do a great job. I rarely read the patterns anymore. If it is a pieced pattern (non applique), I take it apart square by square, and try not to look at the entirely of the pattern. It is really pretty simple when you view a small portion at a time. Also, there are mistakes in patterns, be aware.
The last quilt or table topper made with the Quilt Fair fabric was the cutest thing I have ever seen. Definitely my favorite too! The quilt blocks and fabrics are perfect! Great job Kimberly on all of your quilts. The trunk was wonderful.
I absolutely love the fact you pointed out on your backing the mistake and how you were fine with it! It gives other quilters the permission to make a mistake. Love it, thanks!
I’m so sad this live stream is over!!! Such a great livestream today! I love seeing all the quilts and the new lines of fabric that will be coming out soon! Great way to spend time watching today! Thanks!
Another beautiful “must-have” for the library! 😂 I am interested in the pillow finishings. But Christmas quilts are definitely my favorite ones! Thank you for previewing it with us. I will definitely be looking forward to seeing it coming out! Happy quilting! 🧵
Thank you Kimberly, I like that you always show your quilt backs and especially the ones that have been pieced. I always use any extra fabric, pieces and blocks on my backs, I call them Frankenstein backs. And I love that you give credit and kudos to all the FQS employees who work, design and make quilts. See you next time.
God Evening Kimberly, I loved the show, the quilts are beautiful, as always. I enjoy seeing all the new fabrics. Your children’s relationship growing up so fast! Have a wonderful weekend, 🥰 Chris-Raleigh NC
My goodness, you do some awesome work! I'm still nursing my cold and resting as much as I can. I very much appreciate that you have shared this video and want to thank you for this. I hope you have a blissful day ahead!
I have made pillows with Sheri’s zipper opening and her method is easy and looks super! Gosh, this was an awesome livestream…although I always think every one is the best one yet! Kimberly, your quilts are beautiful. Such fun today!🥰❤️🥰
I’m making a flannel quilt for my daughter. I’m going to use that farmhouse flannel pattern for the backing to have a fancy backing for her. Thanks for showing us the quilts!
Is the blue table runner all from a blue collection, that blue color is my favorite color to wear and or decorate/paint (my accent wall in my living room)with
Ohhh, a giveaway for Kimberly's scraps... I love it! A few months ago, I suggested a giveaway with Kimberly's scraps from Heartfelt with a donation to Make A Wish as being your "entry" into the drawing. I would love Kimberly's scraps because I love all of the fabrics that she uses ❤ If only I lived in Texas & not Pennsylvania, I would give up my "stay at home mom" status to be a team member at Fat Quarter Shop! If you ever need a remote employee from Amish country, Pennsylvania (a mecca for quilters with great quilt shops & quilt retreats), consider me!!❤ FQS!
Great trunk show! Thank you! During your break you showed a pretty quilt on a bed featuring a star and a heart in what looks like beautiful day fabric. Is there a pattern?
What is the pantograph name for quilt you said was your favorite? Also loved the pantographs Sherri and Chelsea used, I like the smaller, tight patterns. Do you have those names as well? Thanks for sharing, love seeing all the different types of quilts people are making! And omigosh, your schedule !
Another great video with fantastic quilts and fabric. What is the quilt and fabric that is on the hanging rack at the back corner, it's beautiful. Wish I was as organized and efficient with quilting and cross stitching as Kimberly.
I am wondering if that tree skirt would fit a round table for a table cloth? I am having a hard time finding a round quilted table cloth everything seems to be a rectangle.
Hello MiChelle! You could definitely use a round tree skirt as a round tablecloth--no need to cut the opening then--they could just bind the outer edge instead.
Thank you for the show and tell. Love it all. The free Riley Blake quilt…what’s the name of it? Where will I find the fabric and pattern? Thank you again for another great video ❤️🤍💙
I gotta ask a stupid question, I love the large ruler hanging on the wall. By chance do you know where you got it . Thank you can’t wait for the book. I want to make the flannel quilt.
I am making a flannel quilt using Primitive gatherings flannel. Yes, Lisa Bongean does recommend starching the flannel (using her method -- saturating it and letting it dry). She recommends treating the flannel just like you do regular fabric, using 1/4 inch seam allowance. I am making her Simple Gifts quilt pattern (4 inch finished blocks -- modified square in a square design) and it's coming out so nice! I say, DO starch and have fun!
I've been afraid to do a pieced backing for fear that any vertical quilting lines on the front won't line up right for blocks on the back and will look bad. I think overall meandering quilting would be okay, but not quilting straight lines.
I love Kimberly's sharing of her talent, skill techniques, and story telling. I do however miss Kimberly's interaction with Lilly. Is Lilly still with Fat Quarter Shop? I hope she is well.
thank you for this show. i have enjoyed it...twice today. just in case i missed something. so very many beautiful quilts. your 'chicken salad pieced quilt' is amazing. i just love how it turned out. the 'alpine bloom' pattern is right up my alley. i already put it in my wish list. i have been enjoying the jolly bar sets with a pattern. it is a nice way to get to sew more collections without spending a lot. plus, they are in such easy to use finished size quilts. i love shopping at FQS.
Oh! And thanks sooo much for all the handy links!

They all look so comfy, makes me want to curl up for a nap.

Your Sweet Dreams quilt is the Bomb! Love it!!!
I really enjoyed this video, seeing all the projects in the book and all your finished quilts! Thank you for the inspiration!
I love this book. I'm buying it and making every quilt! xoxo
A great video!🌙⭐️⭐️
Loved seeing what you've been seeing and new fabric
Love the kids update and pictures!
Beautiful quilts Sherri and Chelsi!!!
I use Sheri's RUclips method on the zipper pillow finish. Very easy to do and makes a wonderful shaped pillow - much better than the envelope method.
I love her zipper pillow too. I’ve also made several for gifts.
Do you have a link for this please

I did too and my Christmas pillows looked really well finished. I love her method.
Wow on that Amarylis quilt. I never would have chosen those colors, and it is SO BEAUTIFUL! Lots to look forward to in this book. :)
Your children are very cute. I know you are very proud of them. I remember these days very well with my 3 children and miss them
Love the poinsettia quilt. So cute

Love the Flea Market Quilt, Kimberly! Absolutely beautiful!😀

Late to the party but love your ring there! :)
Great trunk show! Thank you! During your break you showed a pretty quilt on a bed featuring a star and a heart in what looks like beautiful day fabric. Is there a pattern?
It is the Heartfelt quilt a long. Free on FQS website under Clubs and BOM tab.

Do you know if primitive gatherings quilter has starched her flannel fabric
Another great video with fantastic quilts and fabric. What is the quilt and fabric that is on the hanging rack at the back corner, it's beautiful. Wish I was as organized and efficient with quilting and cross stitching as Kimberly.
Hello Rhonda! That is the Meant To Be Quilt Kit bit.ly/3wyKaTI

The first quilt is made with Christmas Morning. Does that mean that collection is available again????
I have found a few pieces on Etsy and a few at FQS but not the whole line.
Hello Candace! No, it is not. They used fabric that they already had.
@@cathybarnes8303 thank you for that I have some left hopefully it is enough if not I have enough Christmas fabric in my stash to fill in Thank you!!
Are you going to get more Christmas morning fabric...I love this fabric
Hello Vivan! No, once the Christmas Morning collection is sold out we won't be able to restock it.
I’m looking for the alternate pattern for chicken salad like Kimberly. I don’t do applique either. Thank you
Hello Carmen! Kimberly used these books:
▸Farm Girl Vintage Quilt Book: bit.ly/3wuV7Fu
▸Farm Girl Vintage 2 Book: bit.ly/3LoShGl
What size are the Blocks on the farmhouse flannel quilt?
Cool! I just made a Brick House quilt. It's very scrappy from who knows who the designers of the fabrics are!!!
❣️❣️❣️
I had to do ties on the tree skirt to keep the cats from drinking the tree water. I might have put four. I would consider a zipper.
I gotta ask a stupid question, I love the large ruler hanging on the wall. By chance do you know where you got it . Thank you can’t wait for the book. I want to make the flannel quilt.
Hello Paula! It’s from Hobby Lobby.
Loved the trunk show and will be getting that book for sure! For the chickensalad quilt, are the blocks all in one book or multiple books? Thanks!
I so love the flannel quilt Do you recommend starching flannel have you ever starched.

How much fabric did Kimberly use for the Sweet Dreams quilt?
Hi FQS. I don’t like applique either but I would like to make the pieced quilt option for children
Where can I get this chicken salad with the fruit pattern? Can’t find it!
Hello Carol! Here are the books that Kimberly used:
▸Farm Girl Vintage Quilt Book: bit.ly/3wuV7Fu
▸Farm Girl Vintage 2 Book: bit.ly/3LoShGl
How many yards of each color did you use?
I've been afraid to do a pieced backing for fear that any vertical quilting lines on the front won't line up right for blocks on the back and will look bad. I think overall meandering quilting would be okay, but not quilting straight lines.
