Thanks for this informative video! I live in southern Ontario, Canada and every year again, I need a refresher in spring and fall as to when to start or stop watering and the appropriate temperatures, so your video came in very handy! My cacti are coming in soon!🥰🥰
@@SucsForYou Usually I bring them in end of September, this year we got lucky, tomorrow it's going up to 22C, overnight around 16 C but Wednesday it's overnight 5 C, they're finally coming in!
77536 resident - when it gets cold, what do you do with your cactuses? I have a few large ones that I can't really move indoors, but would it be smart to cover them with garbage bags if there's frost in the forecast?
Cover with some kind of frost cloth first - don't let plastic touch the plants directly. And we need to find a way to keep the soil dry if they're going to be in temps below 55F for longer than a day.
This is so helpful thank you! I am in Spring TX and it's wonderful to have climate specific help.
Welcome! Consider picking up my book The Succulent Manual! A lot of great information based on our wacky weather/climate 🙏

Howdy from Texas! When do you usually have to start protecting your succulent from the cold in Ontario?
