On Tuesday 2nd May 2006, bbc breakfast creates the new titles, new studio, new set, new graphics, new information and new music! If that wasn’t enough, the national version of BBC news and bbc Spotlight all did the same.

The title music was copied from an earlier branding 2002, although some of it was possibly re scored, it only lasted 2006 to 2009 with some Trending Warm Beds, (some music for newspapers that was used in 2018), this 2006 studio set was pretty basic news studio stuff, boring if you asked me, although hadn’t seen it before, the BBC were limited in what they could do to satisfy their audiences, something not learnt from 2000 with some very naff sets and music, still an issue in 2020.
