Good Afternoon, hopefully the next video we will get over to the big woods! We really only walked about four acres! Have a great day, it is truly a beautiful day here! Lynette and Peter
I wish you and Peter the very best in your wood cutting venture. I'll be sure to follow along with each video. When I was young, I cut pulp wood in east Texas for a living. After a year of that, I started hauling logs. Here I am now, still in the truck 37 years later. We still cut firewood and help friends that need someone with saw experience. MB BAR RANCH
Thank you so much Martin! We cut the first two trees yesterday and hoping tomorrow to spend the day in the woods! It finally cooled down from 94 degrees to 75 degrees today( so it will be much easier to take)! With your experience and your approach to Farming; I'm so sure you will feel every log we pull out and we greatly appreciate you being with us! Hopefully it will all go as smooth as possible! We will definitely stay in touch with you! Have a great evening, Lynette and Peter
Thank You, we cut a couple of trees tonight, so hopefully tomorrow we can share! Peter thought it is so awesome that you live in Cocoa! Such a small world! Have a great night! Lynette
I have watched some of your videos but not sure where you live. Maybe you have said it in them but it hasn't registered yet. I use to enjoy cutting trees.
@@LivingMiracleHomestead I'm so sorry, I think we did mention like once! We are in Akron NY! Both of us are not native NewYorkers! I'm an original Ohioan and Peter from.Cocoa! I would love to move south!
I totally agree, we need to save a nickel, spend a nickel an make a nickel( all with the same nickel)! I will share a photo from each wedding in our next video!( just for fun)! Thanks for stopping by, Lynette and Peter
It can be frustrating in a situation like yours with the logger - at least you can take control of this with confidence. 4 weddings? Wow. This is going to be very interesting and I will learn something new from this. You have clearly accomplished some amazing things and have wisely used the beautiful resources on your land. What a nice stand of trees to choose from and what beautiful land you have. OhhowI love finding old things like that and unearthing them. You found some great treasures! Thank you for taking us along on this adventure!
Thank you so much for viewing and for all your really very kind words of encouragement! Having you come along with us is truly a joy! Thank you! Lynette and Peter
Definitely will be following this series, you have such a beautiful property, love the forest.we helped with our niece's wedding last year, not cheap. 😂package going out today.😀
Thank you very much and Thank you for getting me super excited to see your work in person! I cant tell you how much you inspire me to try! Have a great evening, Lynette and Peter
the timber in your forest is a crop. here in my home county one of the land use programs is forestry. I'm thinking in about 15 years I'll be moving my land from Agriculture to the forestry program. thanks for the walk and look around in a portion of your forest. finding remnants of days gone by in the forest can turn into a hobby as well as an adventure. congratulations on reaching the 500 subscriber mark.
Thank you so much and you are totally correct and this is an excellent comment! Fifteen years goes by so quickly these days and it's such good stewardship to take a crop out of the forest when needed! Great comment! Lynette and Peter
Congrats on the 500 subscribers yall do an excellent job. also congrats on the wedding. Beautiful woods you have and doing this logging might be a good excuse to break out the Farmall lol. Was interesting about Peters dads barn that would be cool to see.You two have a blessed and safe week.
Thank you so much Robert! I wanted to take the M to the woods tonight, but we ended up walking! Wait until we show you his Dads barn; he is a true collector of cool stuff! Have a wonderful evening, it's always great to chat with you! Lynette and Peter
Always a treat to do a walk-a-bout.

Omg 4 wedding. As a farmer we need to take advantage of every dollar that’s available to us. Be careful and stay safe. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻

Thank you so much for viewing! I how did your logging adventure go? Any suggestions? Lynette and Peter
For the most part it went well! We really didn't cut down that many trees. We have 2 or 3 videos on it.

Back to the Land organic farmers sounds awesome looking forward to it
Bought the family farm this last year after more than 30 years of under managed 20 acres tillable and 65 of heavy timber. Too thick to walk through.
