    I had Dunlop Roadsmart III fitted to my Yamaha Tracer 900 and in all weathers never gave me cause for concern. Great grip and balanced handling in the dry, cold and wet. Covered over 10000 miles on them and still had some life in them as I changed them for another new set prior to going on a long tour. Excellent value for money in my opinion.

    You're rekindling my old love affair with RTs with these videos.... Can't wait to see what the 1300RT is going to be like!

    For me the good-old BT023GT on the RT. Great handling (stiff structure), very good in the wet. Reasonable price. Tx for the video.

    I’ve got the Dunlop roadsmart 4’s on my gen 2 s1xr they are amazing tyres, super grippy even after 4000 miles and still look like new. warm up quickly, quite and good on the brakes.

    I realize its an older tire now but thanks for the confidence boost. I look forward to trying my new set of shoes this summer.

    I have had these on my ZZR1100 for over 10,000 KMs and they have been fantastic. I live in Australia and they cope very well in the heat. I would definitely recommend them.

    Ive just changed from Metzler Roadtec 01 which are oem on the Honda, as the front went badly out of shape.
    Gone back to what i know Avon Spirit ST, had really good experiences with Avon whatever tyre choice ive used.

    Didn’t you find the same with Bridgestone tyres previously. I certainly have on my Yam Gt9. In for new tyres in new year so might try Dunlop

    I may try these once my Roadtech 01se’s rears have worn out. The fronts have worn prematurely and ruined the handling. Softer edges have worn so it drops into corners at slow speed and ruined confidence in them.

    Hi guys, interesting review…I’ve had my rtp for almost 18 month now & it came with nearly new RS3’s. 6k miles later & I’m due to change now. Interestingly though I’m not overly impressed in wet conditions so was looking to change to something like the pilot 6’s….Now you’ve got me thinking again! 🤔

    Dont know about de roadsmart3. Had the michelin 6, after 7k, they were flat (lot of highway klicks) I now have the contitrail attack 3 on the GSA. They are wow. Just over 12000km. And still perfect. Maybe an idea for a test.🤔

    I have mich road 6 , Never had a problem . Having said that I think on any tyre if you get on a black snake you’ll feel it especially on a bend . I think with a heavier bike you’ll have more contact with the asphalt ? 🤷🏼‍♂️ I paid 328€ fitted for both Mich 6 not cheap 😡

    I've got the Road 6s on my bike and they tend to follow tar snakes. Very disconcerting. Changing back to the 5s.

    I had the Dunlop Roadsmart 3's on my BMW R1200RS; great tyres and lasted about 11,000miles. I now have Michelin Road 6's on my BMW R1250GS, after taking off the awful Bridgestone A41's. On my GS, no problems with drifting left, right or another unexpected handling problems. I've covered 8,000miles with them, recently took the bike with pillion and luggage to Tuscani, Italy. We had some heavy rain but mostly hot dry roads, the Road 6's were amazing. I estimate the Road 6's will last 12,000miles. Out of interest I might try the Metzeler SE01's next time.

      The Metzeler Roadtec 02 will be out in Jan 24. Might be worth looking into them before committing to the SE01’s

    I have the road 6's on my F800GT, They've done just over 4 thousand miles of problems. They originally had Metzler 01 which I could not get on with. Not tried the Dunlops out, but I am looking at an R1200RS (2016) so.....

    Another question Toby , ferry costs because you use them a lot , I’ve just looked to come back to Uk and almost 1000€ return! Another note 25 c here today oh yes 💪🏼 ride safe .

    • @RiderCamTV
      @RiderCamTV  8 месяцев назад

      Wish it was 25 degrees here too! Yep the return ferry is really expensive. Roscoff to Plymouth is cheaper and quicker but you have to ride through France. Mind you France is lovely to ride through too :)

    Many Dunlop on my Harley here in Canada usually get 32,000 kms and even more on them. 😎🏍💨💨💨💨👍🏻🇨🇦 Bridgestone on my gsa fine them noisy.

    Does your bike pull to the left with the michelins? I picked up a bike with the 6s and have wondered why it drifts to the left with hands off the bars.

    • @Hinckley_Biker
      @Hinckley_Biker 8 месяцев назад

      Most likely following the camber of the road, Most roads have a camber to the left for drainage, in the UK anyway!
