Never in my life have I ever watched a Somali movie or show before. And being a Somali myself that might be considered embarrassing or whatever. But this one really caught my attention. It’s the talk of the town, everyone is talking about it and asking me if I watched it. I’m thankful someone told me about this because I really like it. I like everything about it. The production, the quality, the cameras and other equipments that were used to make this (I saw the behind the scenes photos), the English subtitles so people who don’t understand can watch it too, the acting seems so good no exaggeration or bad acting, the storytelling. And the one thing I love the most is the fact that we are in control of our own story. It’s written and acted by Somalis and not anyone else. We are not portrayed as terrorists, bad people, oppressed, we are not racially profiled and we are not targets for once. I am beyond happy to say the least about this show, I really hope it makes it to Netflix inshallah. Great things for Somalia!❤

I love watching series from around the world (Turkish, Thai, Taiwanese, Japanese, Pakistani, Indian, Korean, Spanish, American) and finally being able to watch a show from my own country with these kind of themes and subjects, it's extremely something to be proud of...I wish the episodes were longer. It was emotional and fun...Farah at the scene when the bomb blast happened was so sad, I cried. I look forward to more episodes. Well done to the whole cast and crew of Arday. The power of cinema is that you can present a 30 year old tale in the Somali community in just 25 minutes.This movie was supposed to be exciting for me but I can’t help my Emotions.There’s something in this movie and it’s reflecting on the reality of our beloved country that’s coming strong with time.I loved the ending scene that shows the bonding between the mother and daughter like most families in our community.The subtitles was a big on step because it’s upon us to show the world what we really stand for,the subtitles was on point and the Actors were doing a fine job.I can’t forget but think about the production and the direction plus the camera man and Editors I see why you made us wait coz it was actually worth it🤍Somalia to the rest of the world 🇸🇴🤍

What a world class series ! This series is gonna be the greatest one in Somali Cinema as it is addressing so many aspects in life. But what I have mostly liked is the psychological counselling to the students. Our schools must learn from this series and hire atleast 1 psychologist to counsel the students. Otherwise, It is best to make the remaining episodes longer than this and increase to 40 or 50 minutes.
I have watched other Somali movies but this was the best series ever. I am very proud of my people. Thank you for the people that put together this beautiful film

The power of cinema is that you can present a 30 year old tale in the Somali community in just 25 minutes.This movie was supposed to be exciting for me but I can’t help my Emotions.There’s something in this movie and it’s reflecting on the reality of our beloved country that’s coming strong with time.I loved the ending scene that shows the bonding between the mother and daughter like most families in our community.The subtitles was a big on step because it’s upon us to show the world what we really stand for,the subtitles was on point and the Actors were doing a fine job.I can’t forget but think about the production and the direction plus the camera man and Editors I see why you made us wait coz it was actually worth it🤍Somalia to the rest of the world 🇸🇴🤍

What a world class series ! This series is gonna be the greatest one in Somali Cinema as it is addressing so many aspects in life. But what I have mostly liked is the psychological counselling to the students. Our schools must learn from this series and hire atleast 1 psychologist to counsel the students.
Otherwise, It is best to make the remaining episodes longer than this and increase to 40 or 50 minutes.
