  • With AI art generators being all the rage right now, I wanted to dive in and experiment with it. How would AI interpret some of the most popular stories we have in human history? The results are pretty surprising!
Ismael R hits us with a military/magic series called "The Black Company" by Glen Cook for story fifty six. Let's see what this is all about!

I read that series as a teenager when it first came out and loved it.
That image of Dominator is AWESOME!

as someone who's read through the majority of the series, as nice as some of the images are, none really encapsulated what the black company is, they aren't really hero's, the company are mercenaries and through most of the first few books, they're actually the bad guys, or technically working for the bad guys. I'd still recommend reading through all 11 books, but expect not so much Tolkien style hero's but more guys who just want to get paid, get laid, get drunk, and live to see tomorrow.

Love the series, go through it once a year, but gotta say idk if any of these AI images did it. It might actually be more interesting to see how they come out with some modifications to the inputs.

awesome pictures Kelly, although I must say, it was not my suggested book. I am intrigued now to go check out the series. I'm recovering from cataract surgery (both eyes) and wow, let me tell you, the clarity of vision I now have is making these AI images pop like never before. So happy to be living in an age where these real and virtual things are possible. :-)
    thanks for posting.
I will suggest the novella "The Dunwich Horror" by H.P. Lovecraft, on of my favorite B movies back in the day.
