The Travelling Post Office (TPO) High Speed Mail Exchange Recreated at the Great Central Railway

On 9th October 2018 at Quorn on the Great Central Railway, locomotive 70013 "Oliver Cromwell" hauls the TPO coaching set passed the mail exchange apparatus to recreate the once common spectacle of mail-bags being exchanged at speed.
The TPO train and lineside apparatus are owned by Railway Vehicle Preservations - a charitable volunteer organisation.
