Moley- the abuse was front and center at the time of the original trial of the Menendez brothers. I was a teenager and remember discussing it with friends. Then when we found out the father abused other boys that he managed….we were so split and confused about what we thought should have happened to the brothers. It’s obvious they were being abused by at least their dad and mom didn’t protect them. Do I think they should be released? No! But do I think they were abused, yes! Pedo files are not discriminatory and of course will molest their own children. With that, their aunt found a letter that was given to one of their late cousins from Eric confirming that the abuse was not a hoax but has remained consistent with their claim of being conditioned to be sexually exploited. To me it was sexist of that second judge to claim that boys don’t get sexually abused or are a victim of a pedo predator, this is a matter that doesn’t exclude any gender, race, or age. Really proving the stigma men had to deal with till recently to come forward about their real experiences and in the meanwhile these predators get away with carrying on the abuse because they have zero responsible authority to reign them in and punish them. Stephanie in the meantime is an excellent researcher, finding things that barely are brought up. On top of that they like to assess their thoughts of their perspective of each person involved in these cases and over time sees if they change their mind of certain aspects or if they remain the same thoughts, or if they go through a whiplash. They did cover the Menendez brothers within this year, recent enough to hear about the potential letter their late cousin had.
I think it's because they were abused, too. It's an endless cycle that only the strongest are able to break. Schools should teach children how to break cycles of abuse. Most likely, most homes have some form of abuse going on. It's sad to admit it...

I think it's because they were abused, too. It's an endless cycle that only the strongest are able to break. Schools should teach children how to break cycles of abuse. Most likely, most homes have some form of abuse going on. It's sad to admit it...

This is about protecting those involved who are victims, and whistle blowers. To me, saying that was really kind of ignorant. There is such a thing as attorney client privilege as well.
