I think the sitdowns are good for aspects like this, discussing characters and general plot, but the vlogs were really fun to just watch your process while writing and editing chapters.

I for one loooved the first ones because you told more of the story (without spoiling anything. I am still amazed with the "halfway point" you mentioned and trying to figure out what that means before literally reading the "halfway point" and getting it)
But I also like the long videos and vlog style that shows more of the time crunch and where you are.
In conclusion, for me a hybrid would be my dream. Where the long vlogs meet the writing technicalities and story points - and we get music recommendations that make me wonder what exactly it is you write
Oooo me too i would love a hybrid of both types. Because while I love the technical aspects of the first season i also love the vlog aspect of season 2 and seeing the time crunch and the process of getting to the final product 😊

My favorite parts of the "book writing" series was when you told us the songs you were listening and how did that made you feel in relation/while writing to the story

I'll be happy with whatever you decide to do, but I personally loved the vlogs most! I feel like they captured the process of writing the most, and they were so relaxing to watch! The length was something I enjoyed a lot tbh 😂
I always looked forward to them, and I go back and watch them because they're so nice!
(Also, I was someone who voted for season 1 type videos on Instagram, but I didn't know what the question was asking until after I clicked it XD)
I feel like the vlogs didn’t happen quite as often so when they finally went up it was super exciting😂 I personally liked the vlogs, but from s1 I like when you shared music from your writing playlist each time
The vlogs with their humor and relatability were the best for me
Personally, I LOVED the volgs in season 2. It was so wonderful to come on the journey with you in that way. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE if you did volgs in that style for book writing season 3

I'm currently planning my own book. It's a mix of going on a treasure hunt mixed with robots and a very wierd kind of society. The only thing I truly have figured out is my characters as I love them. It's all a bit of a mess from there.

i personally liked the vlog-style writing videos because i'm always curious how writers splice up their day and how they're able to hit all their goals without doing it in one sitting (like i've always done)
I love the sitdown videos because they are more like discussions of different book parts and we hear more of your thought process on stuff like characters and plit.
I really enjoyed season 2 of book writing because I love vlogs and long videos where I can sit down with my cup of coffee and just take a mental break!😊
I enjoyed both season, because I just enjoy so much hearing about book writing and your process and where you're at. I like longer, I like sit downs, I like vlog, I enjoy it all, as long as its about you're books and writing.

I saw book writing. But book 3 ooooo I'm excited. Also I love the mixture of both the sit down and talk videos and the vloging videos. So if it's a mixture of both then this is going to be a great series. What I like about season one there was more videos in the season than season two. It's great for reachability.
Also for me I get the concept first then bits of the plot, the characters come last. Also i pre-ordered the barns and noble edition and the amazon edition
Season 1 helped me get through my own first draft! It was so fun watching you get excited about the story and seeing your highs and lows as they happened. But at the end of the day, I wanna see whatever you wanna show us! I love coming along with you for whatever kind of video works for you. These videos are my favorite things ever. Thank you for letting us into your process!
I absolutely loved the vlog style writing videos. Honestly one of the best parts of my year.😍
I absolutely LOOVE the 20 something minute long vlog style videos. They give me such joy and motivation to do things. They are so much fun to watch and we get little bits and pieces of information about the characters even tho we basically get nothung but when the book is there and we can read it - at least for me - it is like... "Ou yeaaaahhh: and "THAT'S what she ment" and "That fits soooo good to that song", it feels like behind the scenes of the book and I love it.
i honestly loved both book writing video styles. i think a mixture of the two (partially vlog and partially sit-down) like you mentioned in the video would work great! i'm really excited to read Better Together!! :)
I really loved the season 2 style vlogs because you sort of showed your whole journey/process at each stage and as a writer myself it was so fun & relatable to watch! But i do miss the song section from season 1 of your writing vlogs, they were always fun xD
I’ve noticed that you mostly review fantasy or contemporary and although those aren’t my fave genres in the world, I can’t help but watch your videos. You’re just so peppy and bright, it’s refreshing to watch.
I like these sit-down videos while you're planning your videos, but I like the vlogs better when you're actually drafting. It gives such a unique insight.

I loved the vlog style videos SO MUCH. It was some of my favorite content of yours from last year. I also love seeing more of what you do in a day other than writing, like watching tv, doing yoga, cooking, etc. It makes me feel like I’m just hanging out and spending an evening with you. 😄
I LOVED the "writing vlogs" or season 2 whatever you wanna call it because it felt like we were in the process with you. Like the stressing and the deadlines and the updates but at the end of the day you do what you feel goes best with your schedule
Season two was my favorite (not that I didn’t like season one because I did!) but I like how you sit down and talk through your process at the beginning and then I like seeing how your plan goes as you vlog. I also totally relate to the vlogs and I love how long they are! I just love you and your videos in general so I won’t be mad with whatever you choose. Do what’s best for you love ❤️
I like both video styles! I feel like the sit down videos are good for sharing more specific thoughts or info and things you've learned, whereas the vlogs are fun to watch the process happen more in real-time
I honestly just watch these series of videos because it is fun to be brought along the process of your writing and being in the moment with your excitement. Either way you have presented it has been lovely. Don’t stress and enjoy your writing :)

I think I’d like a mix of both sit down and vlog. I really enjoyed watching your life as your struggles to cut words in season two, but I do really enjoy going more into the thought process and hearing the songs behind the book like in season one.
I would love a mixture of both season 1 and season 2 videos! So excited to see book 3 come to life 💜

I really enjoy both types of videos, but I love the vlogs! They are so much fun and watching them feels like hanging out w you (which is extra nice now when we can't really hang out with people in the same way in real life). It's also really cool to see the writing process, it makes you excited for the book. Either way the longer the better and I'll watch all of your videos regardless of what you do :)

Both seasons were good for me. I liked the vlogs in season 2 a little bit more because they were longer and we got to go on the journey with you. I always got so excited when I saw one. I’m so excited for Better Together and book three!
I think the reason I liked season 1 of book writing was how often the updates were and how it was just you sitting down to talk. That being said, I have always LOVED vlog-style videos. I really liked being able to see your journey. So a mix of both would be great!

Yay, can’t wait to watch season 3 of book writing! Honestly, i really like both formats of the vlogs and sit down videos, so a mesh of both sounds wonderful! I think I loved how in depth you went into specific parts of the writing process in season 1 (felt like a fun update each time), but I also loved how we got to watch your overall process right when it was happening in the in the vlogs and witness how you tackled writing in the moment!

I enjoyed both and its fine! All I want is to keep hearing you talk through your process!! It makes it seem so much more achievable and approachable to watch you talk through and accomplish the different milestones that it takes to write a book! I just finished my masters and have free time and want to finally actually take my ideas I've super roughly outlined into a REAL LENGTH BOOK!
My favorite part was when you told us what songs you were listening to when writing/songs you associated with the book! And I remember enjoying season 1 more because it felt like we could follow what you were thinking and feeling about the book.
I like both vlogs and sit-down videos. In your poll on instagram I probably picked season 1 because it sticks out a lot more in my memory than season 2. I think this is because you had so many more videos in season 1 than in season 2, though! So I would appreciate a mix of vlogs with clips of you sitting down for a longer discussion once in a while. :)

I think it really depends on the person, but for me, the sit-downs are great for when you're explaining the more technical aspects of your process. It's really interesting to see the steps you take to build your stories! But the vlogs are fun too for seeing the absolute chaos that is book writing, so really it's your call babe
I prefer the vlogs, they're so cozy! I like watching longer videos, even though there's gonna be fewer of them, than watching several shorter ones. But I do miss you sharing the songs you're writing to, like in s1!

I LOVED the vlogs in S2. I was so excited every time they popped up. It felt like I had writing buddy who struggled and got pumped up as much as me. Also, who could forget the Folklore drop that was S2's villain and hero, haha
I really liked how you talked more in depth about your writing process and the progress you were making in the book writing videos for Again But Better. In the Better Together vlogs, we only really got word count updates and I missed the progress updates that you gave us with the Again But Better vlogs :)
I loved both formats, Christine! I loved how frequent ABB's updates were, but I loved the length and craziness of the BT vlogs!! I'd love to watch whatever works best for you :)

I loved the vlog style of season 2
I loved the sitting and talking of season 1 because it was so laid back and fun and you usually came from yoga and had a matcha with you which for some reason I loved, the vlogs were nice too but I was vibing with the energy of s1 so that’s why I voted for that
tbh i like the long writing vlog videos you do cause then it sounds like a podcast which makes me pumped to write my own stuff, and i love both styles you do

I personally loved both season 1 and 2, but especially loved the vlogs that took us through your days and journeys because I'm also a writer and really enjoyed that :) But I also enjoyed the sit down Q & A's and in-depth talks from Season 1. I’m currently writing my fourth book! I’m almost done with act 1 and I’m currently sitting at 27k words, but juggling writing with school and work full time is so hard. Your videos always inspire me to keep writing, so I’m so happy to see more of your book 3 journey!!
I MISS the writing playlist songs at the end of the videos from season 1, but I love both styles truly! Honestly a taste of both might be good, or whatever works best to share the process!
I personally liked s2 as you would tell us your word target and get to it and also show us a realistic behind the scenes... It motivated me a lot
I personally like your vlogs bc I got a lot of inspiration to write my own novel when I saw you actually writing and completing stuff, as opposed to just talking about what you want to do with your story. Idk if it makes you more inspired doing it that way, but I encourage you to do whatever makes YOU more successful.

It's been a while since I watched S1, but if I remember correctly, I really liked the sit down style because it supported a more reflection-based discussion, allowing us to intentionally dive deeper into your story writing process, which was really cool. As for S2, I think the pandemic had me welcoming any kind of content from my favorite RUclipsrs hahaha. I'd be down to watch a mix of both styles for book 3!

I liked the vlogs the best because it made me feel less lonely in quarantine LOLLLLL and like I was writing with someone. I also enjoyed seeing your journey every step of the way instead of just tiny glimpses.

I like the vlogs. I felt like we were living the book writing experience with you. Plus, so few authors show us the struggles during the writing process. I loved the “ will she hit the word count? Will she meet the date line?” Plus I don’t mind at all spending 45 mins with you. :)
