    Just discovered there's a bit of a lag in the sound. If you find that VERY annoying, there's a corrected version here: buildingpoint-scandinavia.com/blog/tekla-tips-and-tricks-numbering

    Numbering by phase, that affects Parts and assemblies would be what many companies would need.

    Hi in Numbering if tolerance is kept 500mm means it will take same number for both the plates,what about creating drawings?

      Hi, great question! We haven't actually tried it, so we would not recommend to use that numbering convention in a project...

    How to over come A1001 for assembly and a1001 for part drawings

    • @BuildingPointScandinavia
      @BuildingPointScandinavia  Год назад +2

      Hello @sriharis2425 !
      I’m not sure I understand what you mean, it looks to me in your example that you want to use “A” as a Prefix and “1001” as start number on your assemblies. And “a” as Prefix for your parts. To get rid of the separator you need to change that under Options.
      If you are a BuildingPoint Scandinavia customer you may reach out to our Tekla support team! If you are in a different region, I am sure the local Tekla support can help you :)

      hi, using the same prefix is highly NOT recomended; in similar case (a/A, b/B...) I used to set start number for part 1001, 2001... and for assy 101, 201 ... where prefix marks the type of structure and start number shows the different phase or level or something else in the model
