You HAVE to play Quantum Break. Not only is it one of Remedy's most interesting games and super underloved because it used to be Xbox-exclusive, but it is also the base for this episode and it kinda tells the origin stories of 2 characters in Alan Wake 2: Sheriff "Quan" Tim Breaker and another one I'm not going to spoil.

I just got it on sale on steam and re-played it for the first time in 7 years after playing this DLC. It was really fun! Hopefully Lizz checks it out! I want to replay it and check out the other scenarios.

In my opinion the most important out of all these Night Springs episodes. I can totally see how Quantum Break could have been leading up to something like this, and seeing Shawn Ashmore get to be a protagonist in Remedy again is awesome. I only wish that someday Remedy entertainment will be able to buy back the rights to Quantum Break from Xbox.
Also, in case no one let you in on this fun fact for the episode: Poison Pill Entertainment = Remedy Entertainment, but conceptually backwards.
I also love that the REC tech looks so much like tech straight out of Quantum Break, really shows Remedy are commited to continuing that story not only conceptually, but also graphically and aesthetically. For the first time since like 2012, we Quantum Break fans are eating good.
