Apparently there was going too be one or two more episodes but then James Mccaffrey sadly passed away before they could complete the episode
Is that confirmed? To me it felt more like the second episode was going to be a Casey one before he passed and they had to scramble to design another one. It felt more slap dash than the other two.

@@IxEDUXi00I think I saw some Reddit post that someone dig up some file named Alex Casey and agent Estevez, so there’s been guesses at least there will be an episode about Casey, sadly James McCaffrey passed away
I'd love to watch your Quantum Break playthrough. It's really good. This episode felt like a special treat for Quantum Break fans. Lots of direct references like "I'll come back for you", finding the cave, the interview room, even the soundtrack... I really loved this DLC.
Jesse's actress co-starred in Quantum Break, her appearance references her character there
Really interested in you playing Quantum Break! There were a lot of references here. The character Jesse played here wasn't of Jesse, but of Beth Wilder most probably, another character from Quantum Break.
With James Mccaffrey passing, the voice of Max Payne, Tom Zane, director Trench and Alex Casey, it feels like the whole era is gone 😢
I would love to watch more Remedy adventures, Quantum Break is truly exciting
You might as well play Quantum Break as quickly as you can since this whole sequence is still fresh for you.
Yeah, it’s why he’s called Tim Breaker, or Time Brewker… much like how Max Payne which is owned by Rockstar became Alex Casey… but now there’s remakes of Max Payne coming again and partly from Remedy so it’s getting even crazier with what they own vs what they don’t.

Plot twist, Sam Lake is not actually Sam Lake, but Sami Järvi. He is not acting to be himself but character what you can see in some events and shows.
I mean, there is Finnish actor Ville Haapasalo (who is more famous in Russia than in Finland, he been actor in many Russian movies)(he's name would be in English something like Wilhelm Aspenforest). He originally became famous literally in one night. It was shock for him, and to other actors of their first movie, which won prices without any expectations for such. Almost zero budged movie. Anyway. He was not prepared for media attention, etc. He locked himself to his apartment for months. Until he created idea that there would be fictive person who share same name as he really is - Ville Haapasalo, and that as a actor, he will play that character in public places. And to remind himself, who is real Ville Haapasalo, and who is character, he gave hat to character. You will see him always hat on his head. That hat reminds him, that he is working now, and he must behave nicely (no use swear words, etc) and play the role. Once he is at home, he takes the hat and be actual himself. The character Ville Haapasalo base on real Haapasalo, but is not exactly real person.
(PS. The janitor, Martti Suosalo... he would be in English something like Martin Marshforest or so... And yes, lot of Finnish family names are landscapes. Weirdhill, Nicehill, Stream, Upperhill, Lowerhill, Middlehouse, Hillhouse,... Other common family name category is adjectives (answer for "what kind of?"), Liketree, Likelake, Likestream, Likemiddleone, Likerussian, Likeswedish, Likefinnish, Likegerman,...)

(BTW. the film which made Ville Haapasalo famous is by English name "Peculiarities of the National Hunt". At least one of actors abandoned his career as actor after that movie, since it was so big shock to become famous in one night. And the director of the movie is angry to the actors who "ruined" his movie - he didn't intend to make award winning movie, but instead "underground movie".)
Yeah I’ll echo the rest of the comments here and say I’d love to see you play QB for sure. I remember playing it back at launch before I’d played any of the other Remedy games and it’d be great to see it with a fresh perspective 🙏
11:30 yeah he was, sort of. Like you said, it's under a different name (the character is called "Martin Hatch") and was played by Lance Reddick instead of David Harewood (although apparently Reddick was approached first for the part of Door but had to turn it down because of other commitments), but the general implication is that they are meant to be the same character.

My heart raced a bit at the mention of Sea of Night. Guess we'll hear it in Saga's DLC.
If it plays in game I'll be shocked cause it's a shorter track but absolute banger, guess we'll find out in like 6 months probably, can't wait!
The guy finding the cave is actually in Quantum Break. You should try it out, even with the cheesy TV episodes. It was a bold try at something new and cost them buckets of money, but it wasn't all that bad.

The shape on the end of the PRS is a pentagonal trapezohedron, which is like some of the die used in tabletop RPGs.
They were everywhere on the ground just before entering the text part of the game.
Would have been cool if one of the realities let you dive and go into slo-mo while shooting, 😂
I played Quantum Break because of this DLC and I don't regret that for a second, great game

Also you ABSOLUTELY have to play the game again because of The Final Draft update which has a brand new ending

Those were nice 3 little Episodes Just curious why you did not Play the Story Mode of American Nightmare. It tells you alot more about Mr. Scratch and also some things about Alice. I think its also just 3 Hours or so. And also Quantum Break would be cool.

I have a feeling that all three stories have something to do with the wider universe; we just can't see the connections right now for what they are. in time, with future context, it should make sense.... hopefully. there's always the future Lake House DLC.
Spoilers below for anyone who wants to know what happens if you focus on the Red headed woman instead of Door. \/
You basically live an entire life with "Jesse" and fall in love. After many years of happiness you both begin having the same re-occurring dream until she eventually asks about the true nature of the universe and after having forgotten for many years you tell her of the multi-verse until one day she leaves with Ati to seek out her fortune in the cosmos.
You begin to re-call your purpose. You had forgotten what you were searching for... lost your way. there was a man.
Door, the Master of many Worlds.
* At this point in the story, it loops back to you finding Alan in his writing room.
P.S. I am interested since I never got to play Quantum Break. The DLC definitely has me intrigued.

I liked the quantum break game and TV show. The question is.. Would you watch the episodes of the tv show where they should be in the game? ignore the tv show altogether?
Elisabet… (Sobeck) I believe this is a nice Easter egg for Horizon Zero Dawn, and they’re saying that she’s another variant of Jesse or the redheaded woman. This works nicely because Horizon shares an actor with Quantum Break, but with the legal reasons as other real world reasons it’s different.
Pretty sure it's to use an alternate name for Beth Wilder in Quantum Break and dodging copyright issue like with Martin Hatch or Jack Joyce, and not a reference to Horizon. Most of those namse we can have for the red headed woman/the agent are variation of it, since Beth is already an Elisabet nickname to begin with : Lisa, Elisa, Elisabet, Liz, Savage (=wilder/wild), Jesbet (jesse + beth)
Maybe the specific spelling for Elisabet is one though, since it has a lot of different ones

Would absolutely love to see you play quantum break. Also max payne 3 just for james mcaffrey even though that one wasn't made by Remedy, it's still really good. Max Payne 1 & 2 will have remakes so you can just play the remakes. Thanks for the amazing episode!
