Lovely walk!! The barge work, concrete, paper work signes are there because further up stream during Victorian times was all those industry’s. Peaceful walk, thanks for sharing!!
The Sittingbourne and Kemsley Light Railway is the last bit of an industrial light railway that ran from Ridham Dock to Kemsley Paper Mill and then on into Sittingbourne to a paper mill that's now been demolished. That disused railway you crossed over was another part of it.
