I felt the same way about 12 years ago and I finally got to see Gonzalez and the band, in Oxford, after the release of Hurry Up, We're Dreaming. It was ultimately very dull and me and my mate where the oldest people in the audience by a couple of generations. He did some epic tracks but live he's just a bit too EDM.

I guess it's more natural for most people to feel alone at night because statistically, you're more likely to be alone at home, trying to sleep than say work and or school or whatever (again, speaking broadly, because schedules vary). But it could also be a sign of being bi-polar (just a possibility, not a diagnosis) if the feelings are severe and contrasting enough.

This totally reminds me of Neil Diamond's Johnathan Livingston Seagull album. I can see so much beautiful imagery and color, feel so much warmth, and the cinematic splendor can evoke any sort of emotion you are feeling at any moment in your life.
