Thanks for the basic tutorial. Do the snap hold together pretty tightly? The green needle thing is an awl. Use it to poke holes through both items at the same time. It will help prevent misalignment of the male and female sides. The awl is sturdier than using the buttons themselves, especially in thinker fabrics.
Thank you1 My kit arrived yesterday, and I was so confused, I set it on the counter and walked away. The included instructions are translated from German, and are a bit confusing in sentence structure, and the photographs are too small. Thank you again for your explanation!!
Eyeballing the buttons spacing isn’t really perfect. All you need to do is measure the length of the sheet itself and divide how many inches you want the spaces to be and that will tell you how many snap buttons to use.
