I am sure some of the woman where just victims married off to Mr ugly who wanted revenge ,who put poison in her husbands soup and watched her husband collapsed and die . Time to grow up and leave the world of fairies and elves.
Because it depends of the people, there are many traditions, but some stuff is equal to all, like some rules that u must know from other religions, bases to our community life, like don't hurt anyone and things that won't harm people. And also as u must know Wicca is a polytheist religion or believe, wtv u wanna call it, there are many diferent gods that varies with those traditions, but also there are 2 that are equal to them all, The Goddess and the God, can be shown in different perspectives
I think the problem is the title, she doesnt say much about tradition, she just say names of some of them nothing more, most of it is about traditions that some coven's practice, but many people don't fall a tradition, but a misture of traditions with things that you think that can helping you becoming a better person and give you more knowledge.
That's the thing: A wicca "tradition" isn't a tradition the way christmas is a yearly tradition. "Traditions" is what they call the overall groups or categories of wicca one can be, like a type. One could be a green wiccan, meaning they follow nature and certain things more, while someone in a different tradition could be the opposite. Traditions are simply the types of wicca, similar to the way christianity has "denominations," the types of christians (ex. "catholic" versus "baptist"). Hope this clears it up for you!

I can see how some practitioners would get offended if you didn't follow their way. I like that you are not this way. you are a free thinker and I like that . If I ever get to a level like you I think I would want to practice alone. Although I'm a big extrovert and I love being around people, I'm also very careful with people. I find it hard to get contact whit wiccans. dont know were to find them. im living in sweden :/ I feel that i have a good life and all but i dont feel satisfied. thats why i would be interested to grow more on the inside and maby learn more things about my self. and i´m rely interested in the wiccan traditions and history. just hard to find someone to connect to.

I live in the North of England and The only times I've heard of Wiccans in my country is whenever it's one of the solstices and the Druids, Wiccans and other pagans go to Stonehenge. I wrote a research paper at university about embodiment and there was this tribe who worshiped/paid respect to this mountain which they considered to have a body. If there was badness surrounding them they thought the mountain was upset with them and vice Versa. Not sure if it’s similar to this

There are also a number of wiccan youtubers that do not believe in the supernatural. It is a matter of working with nature and the natural energies within nature. The deities in wicca (in some wiccan interpretations, from my understanding) are personifications or anthropomorphic interpretations of energies that exist within nature. Also I don't think secular necessarily equates to non-spiritual. Renown atheist and author Sam Harris talks about being atheist and practicing spirituality in his book The Moral Landscape. Being spiritual doesn't mean you have to believe in the supernatural.

Hey this is cool and all, but read Jesus’s Mountain sermon. He says a lot about how we shouldn’t talk down on nonbelievers, or target them with scripture.

Old medicine is related to woman chores, cooking, cleaning, weaving, sowing, whirling wheels, knitting, stitches, tailoring ,herbs for cooking and healing, Woman some times sing when doing certain types of tasks, singing was frowned on by the church as was woman practicing herbal medicine that extends back to pagan times and some of those herbs are used in modern medicines. Time to grow up and leave the world of fairies and elves.
