Alistair Pether has been D/M since he was taught by his dad which was also a D/M and both have won many many drum major prizes AND for dress! Pether was also the D/M to the RAF pipe band! SO if you want to know how to wear a plaid the RIGHT way look those up. This video is 1 back to front in a mirror and 2 none of the Scottish Regiments wear the plaid this way, it's some kind of cock up American way of wearing it and if you want to wear the right way, then look these 2 people up! If you attempted to wear a piper’s plaid in the manner you are describing, it would be dragging on the ground about 4 feet behind you.
