Kite foiling a secret spot. Tampa, Florida, Gulf.

Took a day off from getting dirty to hit the water on my kite-foil board. Kite foiling a secret spot in Tampa, Florida area all by myself! Started on an 8 meter kite, quickly changed down to a 6 meter.

Looks like a fun ride. I may be at similar level, most transitions work well, but can't get feet swapped yet. Lots of toe-side riding. You're right about this past years wind, it truly sucked. I'm up in the panhandle, around Pensacola. We had a couple good sessions when the hurricanes blew by y'all but other than that it was pretty dismal wind. You said you were on the 8 -> 6 and overpowered there. Any idea what the wind was? And what's your weight? I'm at 215lbs, and have to have a lot of wind (> 24) to get up on my 6m. I'm normally flying my 12m in the 12-14mph range which is mostly what we get here unless there's a weather event going on. Thanks for the vid!!

It was around 20 to 25 mph. I weigh 175lb. I can ride the 6 meter up to just about 30 mph then I switch to a 4 meter, (that hasn't happened in a couple of years). Looks like the wind pattern is finally returning to normal again though. More wind on the way!
