It's feeder fishing tackle, but this junk is a waste of time and materials, all kinds of feeders are easily available and cost pennies. Primarily feeder or method fishing is used in the U.K, I used to feeder fish with huge success it a way of getting your baited hook down close to the feeder which is packed with bait. But as I mentioned there are all sorts and kinds, none more advantageous than others, it's down to preference, and over what you are fishing whether its a clear bottom or weedy.
as a retired commercial fisherman and current sport fisherman, i can sum up this video in one word: ridiculous.
