personally for me i would consider this one more on the artsy side, because it looks uncomfortable for a longer ride, but its a close call, i sure as hell would ride it
WOW!! First and foremost that dude's got a pair for sure!! Keeping his scooter headed down range with one hand crank'n the joy juice and the other grabb'n gears Ronnie Sox and Grumpy Jenkins would applaud - AND smile - 'cause he yanks gears like a 4-wheeler does!! His RT is awesum .066 and lap times are outstanding. Not many side shifter riders can duplicate what this guy does and it's daymn fun to watch and to hear. Thanks so much UHBV for taking the time to share with we fans of the 1/4 mie.
Dave was in a motorcycle accident yesterday. Has a long recovery ahead of him. Say a prayer, send a good thought. Feeling sad tonight and wanted to see his face and hear his voice.
Holy shit! Someone payed attention in math class! To be able to build a frame with that kind of stretch and have it stable enough to run 11's jockey shiftin and holdin on for dear life with the hand twistin the brap juice is fuckin impressive!!!!!
Awesome! My every day sled is a suicide shift. It's also a 1000 lb bagger! I can't get the wheel off the ground more then an inch or 2 but I shred rear tires drifting!
Ive tried that and it is not for the timid. It gets sketchy quickly and you better hold that right bar like a vice but be ready to let it do its thing if it wants to. Firm but compliant is the only way to describe it.
The only way to fly. I built and ride 2001 1200c with reaper cams extensive head work Keith black pistons. Jockey shift suicide clutch no front brake. My friends think I'm insane. Much respect to that guy.
Respect but only because it's actually pretty fast. I'm surprised the track didn't boot him. I nearly got booted for standing up after the finish on my CR500😒
bull shit .... i owned a 1952 pan head hard tail 24" over stock chrome springer the clutch was on the left side bottom on a pivot that i worked with my left foot and the shifter had a beer tapper handle and it was lower left side.....and everybody i hung with called it a suicide clutch and jockey shift .... i took that ol bike on trips i should know all about it......now who is the dumb ass
thomas dawe not sure if you were responding to me or the other guy. I was calling the other guy who commented a dumbass! What you had was a jockey shift and sounds like you had a rocker clutch of it worked on a pivot
Chop set up right has a low center of gravity, is pretty lightweight and no rear shocks either. Jockey shift on a chop is really safe actually, I used to rife like this, if its all u ride its fine,
In south east Asia, you can find some kinds lying on their bike seat doing some superman stuff with one hand on the handle bar and other hand holding the shifting pedal while drag racing.
love the bike. nothing sounds better. built vtiwn. I LOVE ANYTHING FAST AND A,THROTTLE. 98 CBR919RR. 03 SUPERGLIDE SS HEADS CARB 3" SHORTYS. LOVE BOTH.
And this ladies and gentle men is how to ride a motorcycle the correct way take notes! You can drag your knees you can drag your knuckles but for the love of all that is holy DON'T DRAG YOUR GOD DAM MUTHER FUCKING FEET!!!!!!
+John Shagawat I don't think your getting what I'm saying man.Im saying ppl don't have the stones anymore to ride bikes like that, the only ones that do are the oldschool guys who still ride and who came up riding bikes like that, like you and myself...not alot of us left
Kids, that's a real chopper! Not the unrideable parking lot art that is so popular now. Kudos to the driver/builder.
dang
personally for me i would consider this one more on the artsy side, because it looks uncomfortable for a longer ride, but its a close call, i sure as hell would ride it
This thing is wicked badass, but then I like glam fairy too
The bike is a stupid pile of junk.
It looks like it's pretty close to being unrideable to me.
Thanks so much UHBV for taking the time to share with we fans of the 1/4 mie.
He would have gone faster if his steel balls werent dragging the track.

Holy shit! Someone payed attention in math class! To be able to build a frame with that kind of stretch and have it stable enough to run 11's jockey shiftin and holdin on for dear life with the hand twistin the brap juice is fuckin impressive!!!!!

Chuck Norris's tears can cure cancer...unfortunately, he never cries.

My man can ride!!
Mad skills, awesome bike.
Balls of steel🤘🏻. That thing is sick
Almost 30 years since the last time I have seen a bike with a suicide shifter. Man, I loves them! Now he needs to run this at the Isle of Man.
Awesome! My every day sled is a suicide shift. It's also a 1000 lb bagger! I can't get the wheel off the ground more then an inch or 2 but I shred rear tires drifting!
how is he setting on the bike his ball are bigger than the bike. somebody get this guy a trophy
Ive tried that and it is not for the timid. It gets sketchy quickly and you better hold that right bar like a vice but be ready to let it do its thing if it wants to. Firm but compliant is the only way to describe it.
set my 90 Softail up with a jockey shift.. not nearly as pretty as this bike but still soooooo much fun!!! hand jammers rule!!!! great job man!!!
Got have to give him mad respect to be drag racing a Suicide shift bike.
Man would not want to see that bike hit a slick spot on track,,, rad rider
Really righteous showing a lot of class 👍👍👍😎
and that's a dam impressive time for a Harley street bike , hands down
Guess it is not as street as it may look..
The only way to fly. I built and ride 2001 1200c with reaper cams extensive head work Keith black pistons. Jockey shift suicide clutch no front brake. My friends think I'm insane. Much respect to that guy.

Jockey shifting sheesh. A 113 S&S is no joke. On a decent street bike with a good rider should get you high 11s in the 1/4.
SHIFTMASTER!!!! Level unlimited reached
A deraker with a handshaker. Cant get much cooler than that.

that thing is bad ass..... i love how short it is, and how the tank is damn near striaght up, hahaha, nice work
Nice bike! The frame is a 3rd gen CFL, from West Coast Chopper. I have the same one, but mine is a 4-up.
Respect but only because it's actually pretty fast. I'm surprised the track didn't boot him. I nearly got booted for standing up after the finish on my CR500😒

OK lads, let's make this a fair-handed competition; BOTH riders have to ride one handed! Then let see THOSE results!
Dude 11 seconds run on a jockey shifter that's nice
Never seen a drag strip where you can race with a brain bucket, jeans, and a sweater. You gotta be in full leathers round these parts.
nice job..... i used to have a Harley chopper jockey shift and suicide clutch ......nice bike
Erh, can't have BOTH on same bike !!?!
Morten Kristoffersen you're an idiot....stop commenting because you make yourself look stupid. You clearly know nothing
bull shit .... i owned a 1952 pan head hard tail 24" over stock chrome springer the clutch was on the left side bottom on a pivot that i worked with my left foot and the shifter had a beer tapper handle and it was lower left side.....and everybody i hung with called it a suicide clutch and jockey shift .... i took that ol bike on trips i should know all about it......now who is the dumb ass

Chop set up right has a low center of gravity, is pretty lightweight and no rear shocks either. Jockey shift on a chop is really safe actually, I used to rife like this, if its all u ride its fine,
Very Cool Evo 113 Motor with a 6 Speed Nice Bike
Die Maschine geht aber gut ab. Und dann noch einhändig. Klasse.
Pretty sure that was an 1/8th mile instead of a 1/4. Still not too shabby a run. Exceptional for a chopper type.
LOVE BOTH.
badass bro. hardcore
I must be missing something, how is he pulling the clutch? Also 11.81 on a v twin , that is great.
displayfireworks1 foot clutch hand shift
He isn't hitting the clutch on shifts, just getting off power a split second with the throttle.
My pan is jockey with the factory ratchet lid I love it

That's tough💪💪
Steep rake going that fast too, holy fuck.
It would run 10's if he didn't have to lug around that huge set of steel balls
LMAO an 11.81 1/4th mile on jockyshift chopper. Nice.
I should-a been a biker...That’s badass! 👍
Take lessons kiddos... take lessons
+HortonKansas people don't have balls like they use to or the coordination and knowledge to operate a bike like that...in most cases
John Shagawat you proved my point but ok
+John Shagawat I don't think your getting what I'm saying man.Im saying ppl don't have the stones anymore to ride bikes like that, the only ones that do are the oldschool guys who still ride and who came up riding bikes like that, like you and myself...not alot of us left
+John Shagawat No front brake is a given...isn't it? Lol,stay safe brother
Im gonna be honest, i didnt even know these existed. I wanna learn now.
Whoa, Sketchy indeed!
Hell ya . I like it !
Mad skillz
Yep, badass
My pops had an Ironhead like that.....fuck I hated riding that thing...even to go get a pack of smokes.
