Wow. Short, concise, easy to understand, but full of information. Yours might be one of the best tech related channels on youtube when it comes to information.
    Thank you for your work.

I have a at2035 going into a peavey pv14 board with some preamp gain and highs boosted and vst's in OBS. Your voice just sounds so much more prominent and brighter even when I have my mic Eq'd, compressed and going through a vst called radiator as well. Any idea on things I can do to get to your range in loudness and brightness? Thank you.

Sorry for the delayed response! To start, make sure you're not doing something obvious like talking into the wrong side of the mic. You should be speaking into the front, not the top or back, and your mouth should be just slightly above the diaphragm (basically at the metal band separating the grill at the top of the mic. Second, make sure you're close enough. The 2035 likes to be under 12in away from your mouth.
There are other things like recording in a quiet room, that can really help emphasize your voice. If there's a lot of background noise, your voice will blend into it and get lost more.
I also have a pretty bright voice, but I also sound like I'm high all the time, so there's a lot of treble to my voice, with warmth in the mid to lower tones. Honestly I don't have that great a voice, but the 2035 compliments it well. You might just need to find a mic that suits your voice more assuming you're using it properly and still don't like how it sounds.
