This is a pre-emptive strike on the comments for this video. You kiddo's are creating so many memories for your old age. When Willie had Sarah up in his arms spinning her around my mind quickly transitioned to when they are in their 80's or 90's and Willie saying, "Hey, Sarah, remember when we were young and could do that?" I know it's hard work for you guys to create these videos, and I know there are times you are tired of filming, and would probably love to take a break from documenting your life. Enjoy it while you are young 🙂
I began using Earth Breeze laundry detergent sheets because their commercial really stresses how colored plastics generally do not get recycled as much as clear plastic. The idea of using colored plastic and recycling it into flower pots is an awesome idea. Plastics are also used in creating Pollywood which is used for lawn furniture and decking material. Humans are a bit late getting this right, but better late than never it is always said.
Sunday isn't Sunday without a Skye Life vlog! Thanks Willie and Sarah for the continued effort to film, edit and upload snapshots of your lives. Cheers, Kevin
Another South African here - I'm in George in the Garden Route of the Western Cape - such a beautiful place to live, in places very like Scotland !! Totally agree with your comments, love this channel, especially when we see Sarah painting or Willie music-ing - not forgetting the fur-babies 🦋
Thanks, Sarah and Willie. Good job on cleaning the beach of abandoned plastic, Sarah. Willie, you did a great job explaining your choice od outer clothing in bad weather. See you next week❤️❤️❤️❤️
The celery roots are best left in shallow water; they won't grow like proper whole celery plants, but give a good supply of leaves for flavouring soups and stews; worth doing, you should get a couple of cuts from each one. Other things I've found worth doing by rooting in water are basil and watercress. If you try carrot tops, you won't get carrots, but will get some tasty greens to add to salads or make into pesto. Not on the John Seymour scale of self sufficiency lol - but I like the irony of the "every little helps " mantra from a certain supermarket 😅
I also cut the bottom off the spring onions bought from supermarkets, they are sold with the roots still on. I put in water till they sprout then plant. Thanks for the advice on hiking gear, when I was in Scotland, I’m Australian, I was so unprepared for the wind and had to buy a fleece shirt. It’s the best thing I’ve bought, have lent it to some people for their travel to colder climates. It doesn’t get any wear here in Queensland, we think it’s cold if the temperatures go below 20 degrees Celsius. A month ago I noticed a few of my subscriptions in RUclips had changed and I had to resubmit, weird that

Great pictures Sarah! Thanks Willie, very comprehensive information on what to wear! Excited to see what new product will be made of plastic picked up on beach. My dog would be in heaven out there on the beach too!
I planted avocado straight into the soil and are growing, the same with Apple, lemon & orange and mango stones straight into the soil and it takes 4years before you get fruit
Loved the eagle photos. In the army we were told "cotton kills" in terms of base layers. This was reinforced on every survival course. You pointed out correctly that cotton doesn't wick away sweat. The problem comes when you stop your activity and the moisture trapped in the cotton can cause hypothermia. Not an issue if you are just wandering around the tourist spots but could be if you get caught out overnight. Great videos, I look forward to seeing them each week.
Inspired by your " what to wear" section so went into Mountain warehouse Gordon Street Glasgow and purchased a few items. Got the half shell top a really good waterproof jacket and a couple of fleeces. Told the guy we saw your recommendation on your show.. he took a note of your name and RUclips channel, think you should get some credit for quite a big sale today! Thanks Willie. ps love your Skye life show! Jim Gibson Carfin Scotland
I've planted lemon straight from a lemon and now I have 3 lemon trees growing this summer. You should plant them in your house. They will grow up. They just need some sun shine. When you pick a leaf and break it into it will smell like a lemon. In the winter makes you think of warm days. The person that writes your music is to loud tell them to turn their volume down. Its a simple solution. I love Will's music. You guys make my sunday, thank you.
This episode gave us absolutely stunning photographs and scenery! Thank you Willie and Sarah ❤❤and it was great to see Jack out and enjoying the water 😅
We live in the Sierras of California, and across the street from a pond. We enjoy watching the Osprey and Eagles that live around the pond. We were once kayaking and my husband was fishing, and an Osprey swooped down and grabbed the fish he had on his line and took off! His line was spinning wildly, and eventually the Osprey dropped the fish. My husband reeled it in and released it, and the Osprey immediately came down and got it! Nature Nuggets❤️
What a paradise you live in. The aerial views are breathtaking and the horses add an extra bonus. Wonderful getting to see Jack Spaniels doing what he loves best. Thanks for another fun video. 🌵🐕🇺🇸
Another great video with really good tips on what to wear when walking on Skye! Can’t believe all the plastic that Sarah found in the woods, which look Ike they are in the middle of nowhere.
Great vlog again , Willie and Sarah. The drone shots of the white horses were wonderful. What a great idea for recyclimg duscarded plastic and well done Sarah for collecting it. Great advice on clothing, Willie.Just another point on wearing a peaked cap, for those of us who wear glasses ii can help keep them dry in the rain. Thanks for posting.
I was just thinking we hadn’t really seen Norrie in this week‘s episode and then came the bloopers 😂😂😂 loved seeing the eagles. Such magnificent creatures.❤
Loved the eagle photos, thanks! You will have many opportunities for great pictures I'm sure! I am glad to see that your dogs don't listen to you any better than mine does to me. I say, "Sasha, get off the bed!" and she looks at me as if to say, "Why? It's mine! Everything is mine! I'm a princess! Which, I suppose, is true... *sigh*
Just met Richard at Carrbridge Carve today. What a lovely man, took the time to stop and chat. Looking forward to seeing him again on the channel. Bob and Barbara, from Inverness. ❤❤XXX ❤❤❤
Another Sunday well spent for me. Beautiful drone shots. The eagles were amazing to see. Good for you doing the beach clean up and recycling ♻️. Looking forward to seeing what is made. Missed seeing Nori but the bloopers with Willie made up for it. Jack and Nori require as much attention as a couple of kids😂. Have a great week!❤
Wow - thanks for the thorough discussion about the layers of clothing. Great advice. I adore the out takes. Especially when the boys are misbehaving ❤❤
Brilliant eagles. 😊. We were out walking on our island a few weeks ago, and spotted a pair above us with a juvenile. We're SO lucky to live where we do and able to see incredible wildlife. Keep safe, well, and, dare I say it, DRY if possible 😊xx
Thank you for all you do in looking after the environment up there - great job in collecting all that plastic for recycling! Good advice from Willie on what to ewar - so many people get caught out with the weather in the Highlands.
I appreciated the gear segment. I live in Portland, OR and we dress similarly here which helped a lot when we packed for a three week trip to Scotland. We spent three days in Ullapool and went on several hikes in that area. We also hiked on Islay. We are fortunate here in Portland to have the headquarters for Nike, Columbia and Keen in our city - plenty of appropriate clothing and footwear all around us! Oh, and my niece is a designer at Under Armour so we are well supplied. You two continue to put out quality videos which I know takes a lot of your time. Thank you.
Another amazing day with the eagles and scenery. Great job on teaching us what you need for your walks ect. Take care and thank you for sharing your adventures 👏🙏❤️
Fantastic job up cycling those old fish boxes. That’s a lotta kit Willie has for all the ever changing seasons and weather systems. Great vlog. Cheers.

Wonderful to see the eagles. Thank you for doing the beachcombing and recycling the clothing article. It was very good, so many people do not realize just how adverse Skye weather can be.
So pleased that someone is using the hard plastic that we see everywhere! Great job Sarah collecting it up for recycling! The white tailed eagles are just awesome!
