Another top notch review. Enjoyed it. Crystal inside a nice touch, cheap plastics you showed are not ... but must admit the boot space is quite small, front does not open at all? that is very very odd. What is there? Panoramic sunroof is a nice touch.
Thanks a lot for the feedback! The front does not open at all, fixed in place. Lots of wiring and part of the system for the xdrive is in there. Was the same with the Audi Q4 etron, front could open in that car but no frunk space.
People forget, Tesla cars are more like rolling computers. Their functionality can be upgraded over the air. They have all the equipment required for future proofing in them already. No other car offers this. They're still designed for planned obsolescence. The iX is just trying to sell this EV using it's posh interior. Every other aspect is inferior. Tesla is in pressure of its own. They are so far ahead of the curve it's unfair
True, Tesla's are way ahead any EV at the moment, no question about it. but some people prefer poshness over functionality or just brand loyalty which is the type of public they r trying to attract with this car. And apart from that, BMW told me this car's main purpose is to show off the technology BMW can put in their vehicles and they don't expect it to be a mass seller like the i4 or ix3
