- Chinatown Food Centre is one of the most popular hawker centres in Singapore. It is located in the heart of Chinatown, and it is a great place to find affordable and delicious food. The food centre is home to over 260 stalls, serving a wide variety of cuisines, including Chinese, Malay, Indian, and even Western food. There are also a number of stalls selling drinks, desserts, and snacks. The most famous stall at Chinatown Food Centre is Hawker Chan: This stall is the world's first Michelin-starred hawker stall. It is a crowded and noisy place, but it is also a lot of fun. And the food is amazing!

Hi Chris. Thanks for the Hawker Center walking tour. It's great that they gathered so many stalls under one roof..So many places to enjoy great food. For me I prefer the outdoor hawker places. I love the smell of the different types of food that's cooking and the atmosphere helps make it a more enjoyable experience. Took the wife there years ago to check out Hawker Chan's. Long line at lunchtime. She refused to eat there because it's so HOT🥵. I said, "Look how cheap it is." She said, "I'll pay more for A/C."🤣 So we went across the street and paid more to eat at the airconditioned Hawker Chan. You know what they say, "Happy wife..."😁
