oh! sorry, I missed this message until today. I would have recommended going to the Sant Da Serra Sunday Market. The weather is grim though isn't it, did you manage to do something nice?
@@hungrytoexplore hey Joe thanks for your reply. Yup the weather is a little gloomy but thanks for the heads up on the Market, I’ll go next Sunday for sure. and sorry for treating you like a tour guide, just thought I’d reach out. I ended up just wandering around and booked a walking tour for tomorrow morning. Stopped for clams, then grey bream at peixaria (three months old Restaurant but good, they own another one on the island) now sort of napping with a fruit place and my laptop. Enjoying all your stuff… that algorithm is a bugger, march on tho, do. Yesterday I found that snack bar with the Tom soup etc. you recommended, but was closed… another time maybe. I’m off to Thailand in feb … scouting for a place to settle (ish) thought I’d check out what’s going on in Madeira first. Intrigued to know what it is about Madeira that enticed you over se. Asia etc. have a good Sunday
Joe, if you’re still in Phuket, go to Bangtao & try Nick’s Chippy “Fish & Chips” (English style Fish & Chips) Honestly excellent food if you like that sort of thing 👍🏻👍🏻☺️ I’m telling you hoping a genuine Food Blogger will get there before someone like Geoff Carter or the other Pattaya lot 😅
Ah you missed some small beaches in Rawai! They’re around Eva villas if I remember it correctly… and you would probably best like the friendly Surin, Kamala and Bangtao stretched too and then go Layan, then drive the winding up and down beach road to get to Banana beach and then Naiyang. There are like 30+ beaches in Phuket! It’s really an amazing island ☺️
Some of these smaller beaches look great from the air, but too many rocks. Scenic , but no good for swimming. Surin, Patong, Karon and Kata best for swimming. More people but longer beaches, so no problem getting a spot.

The high angle picture looks so beautiful that it doesn't look like the real thing.👍 and the sunset was truly beautiful.🌅🌴
the drone shots are stunning but it was just as beautiful from down below, do not worry
Mai Khao beach is stunning and is still mostly a quiet spot (my favourite beach in Phuket). Sunsets are amazing as well
oh is that the one wth the planes?
@@hungrytoexplore yes, but it stretches for 8km or so. Go further north and it can be empty and very peaceful. Good sand as well.
สวัสดีค่ะ🙏ยินดีต้อนรับค่ะ
Have a nice day in Phuket island 😊
thank you :)
Enjoy the video Joe. Hope you a great 2024!
thank you Thomas, to you too
That is beautiful Joe
hard to beat s beautiful beach in Asia
Coming over in August; can't wait! Thanks for the preview 😍
You’re going to love it!!
Is there much rain in August I travel to
@@damienburke5596 Rain season ends in November but I have good hopes.
It’s not going to be nice in August unfortunately.. might be murky because waves are hitting the sand and it is mostly raining :(
@@kristinaalingalan5329 don't say that keep fingers cross thanks
Hey love it!
I just landed in Madeira tho, any recommendation for what I could do on a Sunday? Cheers Joe
