Dear Randy, this song reminds me with every word that I am a recovered addict whom has died briefly from an OD 7 years ago. That part of me is always waiting to kill me again should I slip. Thank you for the reminder, and I'm glad to see this part of u still vigilant. The strength you exude helps others by sheer inspiration. So never give up brother in arms.

Okay it's clear this track is about the disease of addiction which many of us can identify or struggle with! The more I listened , the more obvious it was.

@@bobbaganush17 I disagree. I only like about half of that album. From what I've heard from Omens it sounds better than the self-titled. New Colossal Hate, Resurrection Man, Routes, On The Hook, Blood Shot Eyes and Reality Bath are good tracks. The rest not so much. Poison Dream is my least favorite LoG track next to Invictus.

As a recovering alcoholic and heroin addict I completely relate to this song, addiction is something that never goes away, it's always right there just waiting to creep up on you at your weakest time, or even in your strongest of times, it is always waiting to take you down, so we can never let down our guard. Everybody has been acting like Lamb of God needed Chris Adler more than he needed them, but this album and their last one has proven them wrong. They're still kicking ass and still have a pretty awesome drummer. If Willie and Mark ever left the band though, those would be some big ass shoes to step in........
That chugging at 2:07 is some I don't hear enough because it's considered too "boring". I absolutely love it. It's heavy, it's dark, and nice to play on guitar to relieve some anger.
I expect nothing from this album, but they're keeping all the good songs for the release day. love it.

After Sacrament I felt like they lost something. The riffs were not so amazing (in my opinion) anymore. I don't hear those amazing riffs here neither but this album is sooooo groovy and brutal, I just love it. I didn't expect anything so I'lm very happily surprised
