@@marco_75.7 Ah you meant "Does anyone have one?". Unfortunately people that just gave a thumbs up on my comment aren't going to see your question my friend.
You guys did a good thing for this well cared for car and enthusiasts as a whole. The GR86 is an example of an affordable sports car at a time when new cars are becoming too expensive for many. That message needed to get out. On top of that, you're proving you are good businessmen who can keep a RUclips channel going for a long time. I admire everything you are doing.
You guys are the reason I bought my first 86. I didn't think I could daily drive this car in Utah, but you proved me wrong. I've been enjoying my '22 for six months now and it's all your fault. I look forward to seeing your future projects.
I purchased a 24 model after watching your videos, you guys single handedly cost me 36k (34k before tax) and I can't wait to get it. Arrives in a month or two. Hope I enjoy it as much as you guys did!
Really?! I really though you guys would hold onto it for just a bit longer, sounds like it’s been a great car! But, it’s understandable and can’t wait to see what you guys be planned next!
It's fine for you guys to buy one and review it as a normal person might use it, then move on. You'll help more people make decisions on different cars moving forward and help keep good automotive journalism alive.
I love my '15 BRZ Limited. It is kitted out similarly to EdD's FR-S with a tune, UEL catted header and Cat-Back Exhaust. I have it modded perfectly as a daily driver all year 'round.
Although some people if they really love the car with sentimental value. They usually sacrifice just to keep it. It's a trade off especially since everything has a limit. Your YT channel is a business and sometimes you should treat yourself and keep some of the most special cars in your heart and treat it outside of your business. The GR86 isn't just for content in YT but it's also for your own self content if it really meant good for you guys. Eitherway way I respect your choice nice videos.
Wow… well at least they’re being honest about the affordability of these newer cars. Other RUclipsrs just be buying everything that cross their paths and have like 100 cars.
I bet they regret this decision more and more. I have the BRZ and with a few mods it is an incredible car. It was ok stock, but with some added power its just plain fun.
Old one I would pick s2000. I had 2015 frs and 2007 s2000. Even with new ones I would pick s2000 again if it’s weekend toy. As DD and only car then gt86.
I want this. Reach out to Toyota of Norwich, CT. I'll see if they'll ship it to me for yah. Of course you probably have ten local buyers lined up already, I bet...
Not true. While there have been a few publicized cases (most of which were ultimately covered) these cars still have warranties that are valid, even with track use.
@@EverydayDriver if it catches fire or is abused it's void. And if your case was valid. Why isn't those cars covered?? Don't even bring up "cosmetic damage that had zero to do with the internals. Toyota is clearly not covering those vehicles.
@@gamelord still not understanding your logic. Nobody is forcing you to pay over MSRP for a car. If one dealership won’t budge-call a handful of others.
? - not sure what you’re accusing us of here. We’ve been very public about the fact we bought this at MSRP from a dealer that only sells at MSRP. No special treatment for us. And we’ve spoken out against markup many times.
I was shocked that you were selling it until you said that the money was going for the next project. Then I completely understood.
@@marco_75.7Did you mean to reply to someone else?

Thanks for watching. We’re honored to have helped you find your car!
Glad you guys got to enjoy the ride while it lasted. Thank you for bringing us along for your journey.
not much i’m intrigued about long term besides this. following the rtv engine recall saga was fun. even a mitsubishi mirage wasn’t this exciting

LOVE the honesty. It's a business, and you guys approach it as such. Terrific content. Keep it up.
I leased a BRZ and I feel the same. So I decided to not rerun and buy back the car. These cars are pure bliss!

Your loss will definitely be someone's gain. That GR86 is absolutely beautiful. Looking forward to what's next.
Selling great Toyotas always hurts... Thanks for the memories Everyday Driver GR86
its a subaru so

The previous gen was the only car of half a dozen I regret selling.
Now I have a gen 2 so it's all good.
I think the previous gen is better.
Sad to see you guys let it go, but I’m happy other RUclipsrs are doing long term results with the car Savagegeese and TheTopher being 2 of them.

If you are so sad to let it go keep it and sell something different. Get the best of both worlds.
We definitely have different definitions of long term is all
That's for sure. I kept my old car till it had 110,000 miles on it. Then I bought a new car with 10,000 miles.
The word here is "content". Nothing else......

Beautiful car. Business decisions are tough but at least that car will get a new home. 😎👍
If it's a business expense, can't you sell it back to yourself as a personal vehicle?
If you guys can, I really want to see a gr86 vs gr corolla core comparison. Or your thoughts on your podcast.
I really wish I could afford one in my country. Thanks for making these videos for those who can only dream of them
Hiii. Could you remind me which wheels this GR86 has
I'm excited to see what comes next!
Man, would love to own one of those. Its getting hard to find one here and still working hard for it
Make a video gr86 vs lotus emira,can a 40k car keep up with a 100k car?
People really overestimate how much content creators actually make from youtube. Not everyone is Mr. Beast lol.
Where can I buy it?
I know they're 2 different cars but should my friend get gr86 or Kona N?
I bet they regret this decision more and more. I have the BRZ and with a few mods it is an incredible car. It was ok stock, but with some added power its just plain fun.
What are the wheel specs? I’m heavily leaning towards the gold leggeras myself for my WRB BRZ.
Sad 😔
Wait what!? I wanted to see your thoughts on the GR86 vs. S2000

Surprised to see it go so quick…Cayman GTS here we come😁
how much for it ?
Hey guys, how do you sell these cars you are passing along for the next long term driver?
Comments in this video is living proof that folks’ spending habit should not be persuaded by people playing a different game.
Iam In toronto. I will buy from you. tell me the price
What wheels are those?
Who ever buys your beautiful GR86 is going to be very lucky. Nice car
Civic type R next?
What’s the wheel setup?
So GR Corolla?
More curious what the next vehicle will be.
What business is it to people? How much money you guys make? Did they help build the channel?
How much do you want for it?
Thankyou for your great content, agreed time to move on 👍 cheers from Australia 😃🎵🚐
I have a slight feeling you guys will buy another in the future 😏🖤
I want this. Reach out to Toyota of Norwich, CT. I'll see if they'll ship it to me for yah.
Of course you probably have ten local buyers lined up already, I bet...
Surprised you guys didn't get the youtuber Honda Type R MSRP deal like every other channel
its only 30k though. dont understand that point
I will happily buy that car from you
Do you have a buyer yet?
I hope they buy the new emira and make a video of that car
GR corolla coming next
Sad to see you selling your perfect everyday sports car
I want it! 😫
Time to adjust your budget like the rest of us. Keep it.
as a broke person who is on his fourth car and the most expensive one (3800 euros) I'll get one! one day
I’ll pay 1k below MSRP and fly out tmrw. Wheels help
Seriously, sometimes you got to make exceptions...
Civic Type R for a long termer
Want to trade for a ‘92 Porsche 968 plus cash?
Get a toyota 86 trd special edition it’s like half price 👀
Good job selling let the next person deal with the RVT issue.😂
Wait…make this decision in the summer 😂
I’ll buy it
Well, keep it. Sell one of the other cars 😉 The next GR86 will either not come or be electric/hybrid/hydrogen
Facts… what other future projects will have an actual manual shifter, manual e brake and be gas powered??
It's not worth keeping anyway - get a new Type R and enjoy it

1 year/long term. pick one.
Most auto outlets do long term tests that are a year. The typical press car loan for a review is 1 week.
Sell it to Chance for a discount.
:)
I could afford it, one of you just buy it
Now, get a BRZ.
Then.. one of you should keep it with your own money? I mean, unless you're putting ALL your money back into the show that is.
You're going to regret selling this.
Looks good. Can you guys get something fast next? How about that new mustang.. BOY do I wanna get my hands on that thing
😭😭😭😭
Kermit the Frog🐸
Sometimes I hate these guys
Nooooo
It's probably better that you got rid of it now, before the motor blows up and you're $35k in the red.
Y’all do realize that normal people can’t get this car, correct? At least…not at MSRP…
You do realize that’s not their fault, right?
@@deej628 totally their fault…they bought the car!
@@gamelord My Toyota store near by is MSRP. I don't think they take into account " normal people ".

Best thing to do is sell it.
Lol! Better to sell it off than deal with those rtv in the oil pick up tube
