@@wyldhouseplants they don’t seem to have minded, they’re less leggy outside than in even though they’re usually on a sunny windowsill. I find you really can’t overwater them as they’re so thirsty so rain hasn’t phased them at all!
Just purchased one! very helpful! I don't have a sunny area, just a mild grow light, but I'm ok if it decided to do the stretchy whimsical look😘 🥰 I'll try to pop it outside in the spring!
Hi, I thought they went dormant over Winter, have I got that wrong? Last year I stopped watering in October and woke it up again in March when it was watered again. Really enjoy your videos 😊. Jackie
Thanks Jackie 💜 They can go dormant if they don't receive enough light/warmth -, similar to Alocasia, but mine never have and my oxalis continued to grow all throughout the colder months in a south facing window. You could also put it under a grow light and it should continue to thrive all year round. If it does go dormant then of course don't worry and like you say it will wake up again in Spring 🌱
@@wyldhouseplants thank you, it sounds like I helped it go dormant, maybe I'll try and keep it going this year. Mind you a lot of my plants are struggling for some reason, I lost all my spider plants which takes some doing, they all went red at the base of the leaves. Onwards and upwards xx
@@jackieives4535 give it a go and if it does go dormant it's no drama 💚 I actually struggle with spider plants too 🥴 I find them particularly prone to thrips!
Just bought mine back in for the autumn - they’ve lived outside for the summer and loved it!
Aw I bet ☀️ I struggle putting my houseplants outside in the summer because I miss them 😂 and the UK weather is very unpredictable!

Definitely try the grow light, they really are sun worshipers ☀️
I have a noid oxalis and love it! It's not full like yours, but it's still very cool and almost succulent like
Such a fun plant 💚

What is the best fertilizer to feed them with?
I'm in the UK and use a brand called Liquid Gold Leaf but any good quality houseplant fertiliser will be good 👍
Do you reuse your soil after you feed it?
Do you mean when I repot do I reuse the old soil? 💚
How long do oxalis live?
They can live for decades. They can however go dormant in the colder months but should pop back out in the Spring. Mine continues to grow all year 💜
