Things were on a whole different speed back then... No wonder why nowadays we have so many issues with anxiety and the like, we have and want everything instantly.
i also run xp on my 500 mhz katmai p3, i upgraded the cpu from a p2 350 like a month or so ago. It runs surprisingly well, even on the p2, especially when you have the classic theme on
But modern phones won't last 25 years. The glued-in battery would be dead and it might have swollen (r/spicypillows) and destroyed the back glass and possibly the display. And because most phone batteries there days are model specific it's unlikely you'd find a new replacement in 10 or 15 years after the device was released. I bought my current phone in 2017 and the battery has been replaced twice already (in 2018 and 2021) and it already needs a new battery (it reboots if using the camera for more than few seconds, same with other power hungry apps)
I recently installed Windows XP SP3 on a Celeron 333MHz, 384MB RAM system and it works way better than I expected. When I got the system as a hand-me-down back in 2006 it had Windows 98 but we upgraded it to Windows ME in 2007.
I used to have P3 Katmai 450MHz (Slot 1) and has been using it up until late 2000s. Somehow I played GTA3 and GTA:VC on this one with single digit FPS for most of the game. or got 16FPS on some good day.
I love to see with Windows XP, Windows 2004, Windows Pe, Windows Vienna, Windows 2000, Windows Me, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Windows 11 and Windows 12

Both windows 98 and me is end of support since 2006
@@riskidxer But that doesn't mean you couldn't use them after that
In 2007 new version of Firefox still supported for Windows 98/ME until 2009
Adobe flash player also supported
After end of support of Windows 98/ME no longer security updates
CAN I ASK YOU WHERE YOU BOUGHT THIS WATCH?

it actually could play gta vc with playable fps. just pair it with radeon 9500 or geforce mx 440. it will get around 40-60fps
@@JhanOjan iirc, I was using ATi Rage 128 (32MB) back then.

Is this a "regular" or a full clean boot? I am wondering if ppl really had to wait for the FS to verify before they could ender the Explorer UI.
Cachanga
